Not many surprises for me. I knew Cooper was involved in some way. Guess it's all those hours of Law & Order i've watched. Shame she had to die, I wouldn't have minded looking at her.
I'm also really disappointed Munch hasn't been around. When Beach came on, I was hoping they weren't going to take time away from the Belz...and for the first couple of eps, it didn't seem like that was going to happen. In fact, he probably made MORE appearances in those eps than he did ALL of last season..
And, yeah, the Emmy "showcases" are getting to be a bit too much.

Go back and watch some first & second seasons episodes, compare them to these recent crapisodes. SVU (next to CI) use to be one of the best cop shows on tv, now its melodramatic, overblown & watered down. What happened to the gavel sounds with the time/place. What happened to tightly written, straight forward story telling.
This episode is a perfect example of everything the producers are doing wrong. Law & Order has always been the antidote to CSI....now it is CSI!
I am actually quite angry about this since I am a TV on DVD collector and the last couple seasons of SVU and CI have been so bad I won't purchase them.

I think it was 2 seasons ago, the show went top knotch with the ramp up to the breakup of Stabler and Olivia after they realize they've gotten too close. Ever since though, it's had like a couple of good episodes a season.

A couple of guest stars of note...
Making his second L&O cameo in as many weeks... Emilio Delgado (Luis from Sesame Street) is seen again (he was on L&O:CI "Amends" last week.. or the week before), but this time as the head janitor.
... and Sam Waterson's son, James, was "Mr. Harvey"... can't quite remember which character that was.
As for the ep, I loved Munch's bitterness towards Fin for dumping him for Lake. I miss Munch.

In a way I'm glad that this is the last episode. It nips the "Olivia's maternal instincts" storyline in the bud and keeps the show from sliding any further down the slope into soap opera.

I've noticed a TON of grain on the flagship show, SVU is pretty sharp. Sharper than CI, too.

I caught parts of it during commercials for The Office. Bill Pullman looks really old! Granted ID4 was 12 years ago.
I don't think they could've made the girlfriend more homophobic once she found out that her boyfriend plays for the other team.

I was going to say the exact opposite. I'd say he's looking pretty good for his age.

Blink and ya miss him.
I really wanted to smack Olivia when she asked that guy's beard "So you didn't know about him & so-and-so?" when it really wasn't necessary..

Good to see Munch get some screen time... and to see him in the pillow fight. He looked right at home.
Munch's screen time and Mo Rocca's cameos
Grand Central Station "freeze" and the "Can I tie my shoe?" incident
Oh... and I wanted to add this: Do you think Mariska Hargitay was okay with the way the doctor died? I think that it was bad taste.

I agree that this was just the same whack job we've seen Williams play before.
It would be cool if they could use the opening somehow on 30 Rock

I was waiting for Stabler to ask, "If she's in a sound proof booth, why do I hear her screaming?"
Concerning the ending:
Who's with me on this?
