Was doing a search for an unrelated subject and this thread showed up...So I thought I'd share my thoughts...

A little tough to narrow it down to top five, but mine would be as follows (in no particular order):

1. Seinfeld
2. The Wire
3. The Twilight Zone (original series)
4. Breaking Bad...Too consistently entertaining to ignore...
5. Freaks and Geeks

Runner's-Ups:
The X-Files...at least the first five or six seasons...
Veep...if you ignore the last season, when David Mandel took over...I thought it was atrocious and totally ruined what Veep had previously been...
The Simpsons...Love the first eight seasons...don't mind seasons 9 and 10...Can barely watch an episode after that...Had it ended around season 10, it definitely would've fallen in my top-five, but I am taking overall quantity into account...
The Prisoner...Obviously, the Patrick McGoohan version...Not the remake...
The Larry Sanders Show...Maybe only because I haven't finished this yet...I'm on Season Three...
Home Improvement...For whatever reason, I have always had a soft spot for this show and grew up watching it...The first three seasons are great...The fourth and fifth are okay, but the last three seasons are progressively more and more brutal...
Eastbound and Down...Largely my intro to Danny McBride...Wasn't a fan of the last season, though...
Babylon 5...Would love to re-watch this from start to finish one day...Took me a while to get hooked on it, but once I was I was watching five or six episodes in a row at the time...

I really had trouble getting through the recently released follow-up series...Had lots of issues with the way they treated Special Agent Cooper's character...The new season had its moments, but overall I was quite let down...
