Not an exciting episode but it did split well for other characters and their situations.
Would like to know what deal was made to make the Senator 'disappear'. I thought it would be water for hell on wheels.
Not sure what the Swede is up to. Is he making his way back to hell on wheels? Have the feeling he will meet Bohannan when they encounter the Mormon camp.

This show has lost me... It's begun to be more of a chore to watch anymore.

^^ When forcing myself to watch it is less exciting than doing something else - almost anything else. I loved S1 and S2 but this season I feel like it's all over the place. Besides, do you really not understand my analogy?

What I didnt understand was why not just change the channel?
If watching something is a 'chore' then perhaps you should be doing something else with your time.

He watched the 1st 2 seasons and wanted to watch season 3. However, according to him, he isn't excited to watch the show anymore.

It's understandable. There are plenty of shows that I'm a fan of...like Hell on Wheels, but I don't get excited to watch it. I would say there are only a handful of shows that people watch in this forum that are super popular, must see TV night it airs. Hell on Wheels isn't one of them.

Except for the bullshit with the Swede, I'd say this season is far more focused than the practically schizophrenic 2nd season.

you're right... I should just change the channel. HoW is one of those shows, IMO, that deserves a chance and as many viewers as possible. But this season isn't cutting it for me. I keep waiting for it to turn and make me love it again. Oh well.

There are only 3 more episodes left. You're 70% done if you're caught up. I get that you're bored and not excited to watch it, but you might as well finish it and see how it ends. You can always pass on a season 4 if it does return.

I can't just abandon stuff so close to the finish line.

This season hasn't been awful but it is not nearly as ambitious in its storytelling as prior seasons. I doubt it comes back unless they cut the budget again.

I'm willing to bet it gets another season. While it has had some stale moments, it's still a good gritty show.
Maybe a little less focus on 'The Adventures of Bohannan and Ferguson' and go back to the railroad tribulations.
