I think it'd be more interesting if it was a prequel and maybe from time to time have Walt, Jesse, Skylar, Hank, etc in the background because he hasn't met them yet.

I hope they just threw the prequel story out there so we wouldn't know Saul survived, because I would LOVE to have Badger and Skinny Pete reprise their roles

The Todd/Lydia thing is not so they'll develop a romance nor just a little character flourish IMHO. It is there to explain why when Walt threatens her or something like that Todd goes apeshit. Book it.

I don't think Walt is going to come out and threaten her but rather outright kill her instead.

Yeah as far as Hank and Gomie I assumed they planted a GPS in his car, not triangulating the cell.
Man that'd be depressing if Saul dies and we get a whole series that whenever we see him on screen we get all sad because we know he's dead.
I used to like Hank but he became a bit of an a-hole and it started with Gomie and the bar fight.
Skyler pretty much forced Walt to give the money to Hank.
I kept cringing through the whole puppy love Jr.-Saul scene. He doesn't like that normally on the show or real life.

One cousin died AS he was trying to kill Hank and the other days after and during those days was in intensive care being watched 24/7 by cops. There was no one to take revenge against because Hank did it himself.

I don't think that's the case only because I like the thought of the Ricin being for Lydia (like maybe she fled to Europe and he's going to have to mail it in some tea to her or something).

No way Hank dies... but Gomes? Definitely. I think Walt gets indicted for murder and not meth. The phone between he and Jesse was so pointed to bring up all of Walt's murderous activities --- it's gotta come back to haunt him (even if it was lowly drug dealers).
Also, how many rounds did Hank's Glock hold? He appeared to shoot 50+ rounds --- Gomes too.

Hank is dead, people. The amount of story that remains is not conducive to anything else, and it very likely is also necessary for him to die in order to get Skyler positioned where she needs to be for the conclusion.

Walt is going to throw himself in the middle of the shooting. Todd's guys aren't going to keep shooting, because they need Walt to cook.
There's no telling what happens after that.

But they don't need Walt to cook. They can totally have Jesse cook.
This is what I love about this forum and this show. We can totally talk out of our asses about what is "clearly" going to happen but in honesty none of us know. In 34 hours or so, we'll start over and try to figure out next week's.

I was thinking that the other day. Dozens of theories, many plausible, and usually the writers think of something else and it is even better.
