Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
They'll probably run the bedroom fight between Aaryn and Candice Sunday night since that got some media attention, and Howard looks like the hero in that; Grodner doesn't want to end with Howard going up at the end of the same hour at the hands of the "good guys" (even though they have sound reasons for doing it).
Of course, I was surprised when they ran a segment on Howard's Christianity and praying with others in the house, -that they ran the segment, that they ran him sharing a prayer pretty much uninterrupted, and they didn't undercut him or mock his beliefs as they have with others in the past.

I'd really like to see a Hasidic Jew get brought onto one of the shows, be just as religious, and see if CBS airs it the same way.

I watched a little bit of BBAD tonight... the first time since the first couple of nights of BB... and it looks like Kaitlin will probably be safe. And you're right... she's an excellent competitor, but... Andy, Helen and Judd were talking and it looks like K is considering taking herself off the block. H, An & Judd seem to trust her for some unknown reason. If that happens, Jeremy will go home. YAY
The main ones on their radar are Howard, Spencer and Candice. I don't get the dislike and lack of trust for Candice. I'm fine with Spencer and Howard leaving, but would hope that Aaryn leaves before Candice... but it looks like we might be stuck with her for the foreseeable future.
But this is just from watching a little bit of BBAD and things change on a dime in the BB house, so who knows how everything will play out...

Noms are in:
I really think Judd is playing smart and his own game and not letting Amanda & McCrae control him. I think he has definite plans on who he wants to take to the finals and I hope he can make it. He has played a thoughtful game, w/o really ruffling feathers. I would love for him to take it all. But, please Judd, don't take Aaryn to the finals. He can win w/o doing this. She needs to get out sooner rather than later.
I just hope CBS doesn't throw a monkey wrench into it, since it seems like they are pushing for Howard to make it far. Giving him a great edit and apparently (from what I've read) encouraging contestants not to nominate him (?)...
I was so initially discouraged with this season due to the abhorrent behavior of the house guests, but it looks like it might turn out to be an interesting one after all with the superfans exercising lots of sneaky strategizing.

So I guess "America's" (AG's) attempt to nominate Aaryn was not necessary. I would have to believe it's safe to assume that GM will be the 3rd nomination.
I wonder, though, if they will tell her that she's up there because America voted for her. It's not fair to pin the nomination on Elissa and no one except Helen would believe her if she swore she didn't get it this week.
GM is already a basket case still because of Nick, the collective weight of finding out American doesn't like her and she could end up on suicide watch. Aaryn will still have no clue of how she's perceived on the outside.

Saw 'Evel' Dick at SDCC today (helping friend promote Top Cow) ... well my girls noticed him first then talked to him for about 10min then took pics. Came and got me and I chatted a bit. Down to earth guy and all around friendly.

Several houseguests have figured out the MVP twist, though it remains to be seen if that will actually be confirmed to them. A couple have even thought it further, that if Aaryn is first and she's already nominated, then GinaMarie will be next. This probably means there's going to be a "Clearance Sale" on Elissa starting next week; Several of them have been kissing up to her because they thought she still had some power (the MVP vote) and that will cause some added resentment if they think she's no longer useful to them.

...and the MVP nominee is ...Elissa. Wasn't expecting that.

Wow, I know people are stupid and I even know that I often state that when something happens that makes people just look flat dumb to me, but can they be THAT dumb? Really? I usually don't pay all that close attention, but it sure seemed clear to me what CBS was doing and I just refuse to believe Elissa won MVP every week, didn't do anything to "piss off America" and wasn't a problem in the house and somehow got anywhere near enough votes to have been nominated.
Isn't it just possible that production nominated her so that the house would no longer have the absolute belief that she had the MVP power, only to go back to the regular MVP voting next week? It makes the house more paranoid and it gives Elissa shelter next week should she get her MVP powers back. It's only a theory and it could certainly be wrong, but it's certainly more believable than "America" wanting her on the block.
The most popular person with those who vote a lot (mostly because Rachel's fans are as crazy as Rachel) becomes the least popular or, if you want to believe Aaryn won, the 2nd least popular? Or if Kaitlin was 2nd, the 3rd least popular? No way.

Re: Big Brother 15 After Dark/Live Feed Spoiler Thread
The thing is, there was an organized effort on several BB fan sites to nominate Elissa for the block this week. Many people don't like her and feel that her MVP wins have basically ruined the game thus far. I'm sure Aaryn was the #1 winner by far, with the remaining votes spread among several people. The anti-Elissas pushed her slightly over the edge into second (or maybe third) place.
Or we could just go with the popular conspiracy theory that "America" = "the producers" when it comes to voting on this show.

I doubt people on a fan site could make that much of a difference. It could just be that Aaryn got something like 80%-85% of the vote since she has had the most negative edit in the shows history and 2nd place could have been like 4-5% .1 out of 20 people or so being dumb enough to think they were still mvp moving is not implausable. I have a feeling after Elissa's stunt of calling people in Production insulting names Producers regret steering the veto for her. If Aaryn goes this week with with CBS's biggest PR nightmare out of the way Elissa might get fed to the wolves.

Given the manner in which she won veto I doubt Producers wanted her on the block. With how little air time Kaitlyn gets in comparison to her allies I seriously doubt she would even finish in the top 5. Kind of like in season 6 when way more people were fans of the sovreigns then nerd herds if their would have been a who do you want on the block the lower visibility Beau would have gotten less votes then a Kaysar or Janelle even if the votes skewed 70-80% for people in the nerd herd.

I wonder how many people even bother voting for this stuff.

I take back about what I said about Judd playing a smart game. From what they showed tonight, he has no game.... i thought he was just laying low, but apparently not. He was indecisive and on top of that, thinking of putting up Gina Marie??? She is no threat at comps or anything else...

It's hard to completely understand what's happened in the house the last few days, and I still don't really know where everybody is truly aligned, but I do know it can be summed by the title "How to Fuck Up an Unbeatable Alliance".
