They've written themselves into a corner with Raj. It's built into his character that he has difficulty interacting with other people, so it pretty much limits the kinds of situations he can use him in. They also need to get him over his anxiety around women. After five/six years it isn't funny anymore.

It also means they can't really make him gay, either. If he was gay, he should be able to speak to women without a beer in his hand.

I kind of want to know how Alphas was going to end too.

They need to go the super lame route and have somebody convince Raj he's been bitten by a radioactive spider or something so now he's a ladies man.

Maybe they can have him make a huge, game changing type of discovery that Sheldon is always trying to come up with. Raj could be nominated for the Nobel Prize, be invited to lecture at MIT, all the accolades Sheldon thinks he deserves.

Then he could go to Cambridge for a year or so and they can get rid of him

Having Raj make a discovery that led to recognition could actually be a really great way to handle this character (and I don't think there's a chance in hell anybody is going to get written off like that unless there is a contract spat, and this show is profitable enough for that not to happen).

You could have him interviewed by some stunningly hot reporter who makes a man out of him. Could be fun.

Amy should spike Sheldon's drink with an aphrodisiac or something .

Howard and Sheldon could spin around with a copy of Freaky Friday while Raj plays with the light switch, and they could swap bodies.
