The kid I see who is nonverbal has the same diagnosis as the quirky kid who speaks well but has poor social skills.
Yeah, but quite apart from probably leaving her horny as hell all the time, Sheldon doesn't even seem to make the effort to take an interest in much of her life, and generally seeming to look down on her abilities. He doesn't even seem to make an effort to try to get her things or help her with her problems. I wouldn't be the world's greatest boyfriend, lord knows, but at least I'd pick up on "go see this movie because she wants to" or "she's had this successful event in her life, praise her for it and work with her in celebrating it. Any relationship is going to require some give and take. Amy just seems to put with an endless rash of his shit. Idiosyncrasies are one thing, but he's had more than his share of chances to grow, and his unwillingness to suggests it's a more deep-seated problem.

That's no fun, the whole point of fandom is to read insane things into stuff that aren't there! Didn't you see Room 237?!

Is there something to talk about? I mean, she looks great, I don't know what else there is to be said .

So what you are saying is she is a female version of an Otter dating thread starter?

I think you're expecting WAY too much from a TV sitcom.

Yes, I know, I established that in my post, at least partially. But hey, overanalyzing the hell out of it is part of the fun. That, or my life is just empty. But I'd prefer to think the former, so I can sleep at night .

You must not go to the Other forum much. Almost every dating advice thread starts with the guy describing a situation like you demonstrated with Amy and Sheldon.

Are you implying that my girlfriend has no sexuality to exploit? Still love that exchange.

Perfect timing in all the jokes. Sheldon was great once again.

Boobs.

I'm baffled how this thread is on a 3rd page.

I agree, Sheldon's just not very good at it, but I thought that in the episode where Amy faked an illness to get some attention, he seemed to be making more of an effort. That's why I thought he seemed like he was going backwards in the most recent episodes.

This is the Internet man, what are you expecting us to do, have serious discussions about topics relevant to real-life issues? That wouldn't be any fun!

If this weren't a sitcom, Raj and Amy would be hitting it behind Sheldon's back by now.

Yes, enough about this sitcom, let's talk a second about North Korea.

How would Kim Jong Un react to Penny's boobs?

Have you watched an obscure video called "Gangnam Style"? My guess is that something like that would be his reaction.
