Wacky "competitions" for an office... a parking space... and now, tenure.

Penny was ridiculous, her in that dress has got to be one of the hottest things to ever grace network television.

The episode itself was hit and miss, some of the writing seemed lazier than usual.

I hope Penny lets Leonard titty-fuck the hell out of her from time to time.

Penny in that dress was the only thing worth a damn in this episode. Otherwise, it was 22 minutes of uncomfortable racial humor..

I guess Kaley Cuoco was getting tired of all the "MELISSA RAUCH IS SOOOO HOT!" noise from the viewers.

Wasn't Regina King kind of sexy once upon a time?

Penny

I thought the guys and girls arguing were fantastic, especially Sheldon's mom jokes and Amy's sexuality. The little bits of Howard egging them on was great too.

I just saw the dress now and it doesn't matter that it's been mentioned. It was the most I've enjoyed this show in a very long time.

Thank you Penny...that was amazing.

Wow! Just wow. I guess that's why the phrase "Opinions are like assholes" is around.

I thought the whole episode was funny. But Penny put the episode over the top.

They're actually charactors in a TV show.

They were quite gravity defying. Raj staring at them was great.

Sheldon's attempts at mother-jokes were pretty funny. And Roots.

Re: The Big Bang Theory - "The Tenure Turbulence" - 4/4/13

So Sheldon went from the guy a couple of episodes ago who was considering getting physical wih Amy back to being a raging racist asshole. Yeah, I know he doesn't see it that way, but pretty much every other character on the show has developed in SOME way (well, except Raj, who gets a stupid plot about BMWs tonight, the writers really need to find something to do with him), Amy is way too good for him. Either he needs to start stepping up or she needs to ditch him. Not much of Howard and Bernadette this time out.

I'm surprised no one has said the obligatory "I'd like to show her my Big Bang theory!" joke. But that was probably stale years ago.

I don't think a guy who tries to give a black person one of the most important mini-series in the history of television, which dealt honestly with America's greatest shame, is a "raging racist asshole." Most people, let alone blacks, in her age group have never seen it. It may be insensitive (and even that's questionable), but it's barely racist.

Yeah, this is the same complaint from last time which I don't agree with. He's not a racist, just oblivious.

OK, choice of words was strong. It's pretty insensitive, IMO, especially since he's doing it solely for his own gain. And he was and asshole to Amy and his friends. I know it's just a television show, but I find it difficult to believe that Sheldon's behavior wouldn't have eventually gotten him fired or at least penalized.

You'd think there'd a come a point where he stopped beings so oblivious, or when his place of employment stopped tolerating it. Or when Amy did, for that matter. That Leonard still wants to be his roommate or that any of them will still hang around him is getting to the point where I wonder. You'd think they'd just throw up their hands.
