I don't think it's malice toward the government or anything that drove the deputy of DoD. I think he just wanted to stop a war that had claimed his son's life.

ETA: This show is ridiculously terrible, and I think I watch it only to see how terrible it will get.

Maybe the thing she cut out of her dead son is the key to turning the power on everywhere. Flash drive things are just a local on switch.

Don't know the range of the generators but it must be pretty big to power the other chopper which seemed to get a few hundred yards from the generator one. They didn't even need to wrap the pendant on the rocket launcher since the launcher should have been in range of the 'on' power.

I was going to comment on how they have gone full on blood/gore with the sword fighting. That's pretty cool. Lots of cool sets over overgrown apocalypse. Things are stepping up to a bigger scale story... huh, I'm enjoying it.

You know, it is, but I have to say, this episode went a long way towards convincing me that they know they're making a ridiculous show.

I don't think they got that during the fall run, but maybe you're right that they took a step back and just decided to embrace it. If so, this could get FUN.
