Nice to hear. Hopefully, this will lead to an Emmy nomination and more visibility for the show.

I just caught up with this show, and I will add my voice to the chorus singing this show's praises. Maslany is a revelation.

It's difficult to imagine anyone pulling off what Maslany did. With a few notable exceptions, actors playing multiple characters are usually played for laughs or the differences are generally obvious superficial things where you never really forget it's the same actor.

Watching Orphan Black, I was so into the rich characterizations that I had to constantly remind myself that she was playing every role. Putting a high concept show like this into the hands of a lessor actress could have been a complete disaster. And she was a virtual unknown. Astonishing.

Agree. It was sort of incredible. They were so easily identifiable by accent, mannerisms, body language and not tricks of costume or other external devices. It was even easy to tell when one of the characters was impersonating the other. You could see just the subtle blend of the too. It boggles the mind how you could do that. And the whole show hinges on her pulling it off. If she is just a little bit off the show completely fails. She should get every TV acting award there is, heck I'd give her the lead AND the supporting role awards at the same time.

And Casima is way hotter than all the other variants.

Kept hearing about this show and decided it was time to watch. Am I glad I did. Like others have said, I'd often have to remind myself that it was the same actor..amazing job.

I finished this last night. So, all 10 episodes in a little over a 24 hour period. I. NEED. MORE.

Finally added BBCA to my cable line up. Guess I should keep an eye out for a Season 1 marathon leading up to Season 2?

Did you check to see if it was available on demand on your cable provider?

Thanks Jay! I don't have access to on-demand because I use TiVo, but maybe I can view them online...

Casima? Really?? Fucking nerds!!! Sarah as Beth is the hottest one!

Marathoned the show over the weekend. Interesting reading the thread right now. It's a pretty entertaining show. Don't think too hard though, this is more about the entertainment factor.
