4 episodes have aired so far. Are you only on the 3rd, or did you just miscount?

re: Orphan Black -- Season 1 Thread -- BBC America

This show is continuing to impress. Each time a clone club member is on screen I keep thinking it is a different actress completely. Such a good job.

"Angel" clone is definitely a twisted bitch. Super creepy. Did any key else think the drawing with the ? actually signified her search for the original or correct version?

Sounds like Sarah is at least a unique version, if not the original. If nothing else she had a child naturally.

I think whoever picked up blondie in the van is part of the larger picture. Is it possible the knife belonged to one of the murdered women's group (that Beth) shot.

Seeing Tatiana Maslany play Allison-as-Sarah was really impressive. We never say much of Beth too know if Sarah-as-Beth is a good impression. However we've seen a lot of Sarah, so Allison-as-Sarah be so close to, but not quite, Sarah was quite a feat.

The woman Beth shot (Maggie Chen) had a fish tattoo on the back of her neck that matched Helena's knife. The guy with the van had a ring with the fish design on it. So they're connected.

I noticed the ring, but I thought it was a new symbol. Thanks for pointing out they matched!

Big Boob Blowies

A BBC America show having a British dude say "Get your fanny out of there!" to a chick That had to be intentional.

+1 This is something I look forward to each week.

Things are really starting to hit the fan. While crazy blonde takes a back seat the other plot threads are rampping up. Curious to see where many of the plot threads go.

Nice opportunity to bring Raj into the fold. Maybe they can use him to crack the surveillance.

Wonder if Art is done. Seems like he owes Sarah/Beth one.

Not sure how I'm feeling about the Vic angle. At least Paul is moving forward. It was nice to see him slowly figure things out.

Just got caught up with this.

Really surprised how good this. Tatiana Maslany has been great handling the multiple roles.

My only complaint is I hate the Vic subplot. Wish he would disappear. That plot IMO ran its course.

I like the cloning plot and want to know more who is running the show.

I like the reveal that Paul is in on this whole conspiracy angle.

Yeah, this show's been really good. It's been better than Doctor Who, so far.

Good news. BBC America renewed it for a 2nd season today. 10 episodes. Will premiere in 2014.

Kind of surprised by this show. Wasn't really on my radar at 1st, but it's a really addicting show.

Don't forget. New episode tonight

Tonight is episode 6

Alison's paranoia puts all of the orphans at risk. Meanwhile, Sarah must decide who to trust with her secret.

Can't believe I'm actually addicted and caught up with this show, but way behind on a lot of other shows.

Last night's episode was amazing. Everything is ramping up on all levels and there's no signs of slowing down. I'm so happy I started watching this!

So regarding the Monitors: They seem to be matched with the orphan's persona to not unset the observations. Beth's a cop so her monitor is a former solider. Allison is a suburban mom so her monitor is likely her suburban husband, the neighbor friend or the neighbor's husband. Cosima is likely the scientist chick. So Sara's is possibly
Spoiler:
Felix?

I thought they made it clear that Felix and Donnie were too constant in Sarah and Allison's lives to be likely monitors. Felix and Sarah grew up together and Allison had known Donnie since High School.

Is it possible? Sure, but it seems like a logical stretch plus the show made a point to clear their names. Vic for Sarah, maybe, but not Felix. Mrs. S is the most likely candidate out of those we know.

I'm not sold on Donnie not being a monitor. He was on the phone in the previous episode when he burned the contents of the box. I doubt he was talking to his missing mistress. I'll admit Felix may be a stretch.

My French is terrible. Anyone have a translation for the last scene?

Bad timetraveler from TNG! "Welcome to the 24th century!"

I keep thinking the show has hit its climax for the week, then I realize there are 20 minutes to go. The interesting thing is the pieces that come to a head are the non-clone ones and feel very plausible.

Would Sara's be Mrs. S? It would need to be somebody who was in constant contact with her, and from her absence leading to pilot that was nobody for 10-12 months. I'd think she may be he basis for the clones, but not one herself and outside the experiment.

Paul is clearly covering for Sara.

Still think Donnie knows more. Glad to see the continuity with Big Boob Blowies.

Really enjoying this so far.

I just hope they don't reveal that the clones are being created and harvested for spare parts. Seems like that's been done to death recently.

This is one of the best shows on TV. Everything works. It is intentionally funny and creepy at the same time. The story lines take weird and often fucked up turns.

Tatiana Maslany is effortlessly nailing multiple roles. Most of the time, I don't even think of it as being one actress. Helena is off the charts messed up. The scene with Kira in the alley was amazing.
