Check here.
Looking forward to the bitching on Thursday at why Sunny and The League didn't record.
I guarantee there will be people here who didn't know they moved to FXX.

Glad I saw the Sunny commercials hundreds of times over the last few months to hammer this into my head that it was moving to FXX.

My channels (84 and 584) on Verizon FiOS are still listed as Fox Soccer HD, even though the programming is the standard FXX fare (Mad About You, Sunny, The League...). I can't tune in because I don't have a Sports package.
On chat with Verizon now. Apparently FXX is available on the Ultimate HD and Extreme HD, but not Prime? So fuck me, right?

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
DirecTV has a free preview of it for the next couple weeks...so what package is it going to be in? I figured it'd be included in whatever the basic package with FX, TBS, USA, etc. is?

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
I was at my girlfriends, she has a basic package, gets FX, but was not getting FXX over the weekend. So I don't know what kind of package you need to get it. I would assume it would be included with a basic. This is for Optimum.

It's listed as channel 401 on that getfxx site, but it's actually 517 on mine, and it's still called FSOCD (Fox Soccer Digital).
Had to do a TV search for Always Sunny on Wednesday @ 10.

Gotcha. I don't even remember what package I have now, it's an old grandfathered one. But I get NHL Network, Boomerang, FS1/FS2, I'd think I'd get it?

Still not available for me, and even if it was, it looks like you have to buy the sports package from charter to get it, so looks like I'll be using other means to watch shows.

Well, supposedly Charter said FXX was free for everyone, but I still have "Not Autorized" on my guide for it. Not happy I can't watch this shit yet.

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
FXX hasn’t really unveiled itself — the FX comedy-network spinoff debuts originals of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The League and late-night strip Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell launch tomorrow night — but the network’s already talking about its Labor Day Warmup numbers. Seems that when you used to be Fox Soccer Channel, even a lobotomizingly long 7 AM-to-midnight Parks & Recreation rerun marathon, followed by a two- hour Mad About You exhumation will churn up enough viewers to generate gimongous ratings percent increases. This also serves to explain why reporting percent increases can so often be a mug’s game.
Paced by its Parks & Rec marathon, FXX posted primetime gains of 860% in adults 18-34 compared to September ’12 averages. And by 860% we mean 48,000 viewers instead of 5,000. In total viewers, FXX’s Find This Channel Labor-Day rerun marathon coughed up a slightly less impressive 108% increase, from 39,000 soccer viewers, to 81,000 Parks & Rec-aholics.
Comparing Labor Day to Labor Day, the results are even more stupendous: for Total Day, FXX posted gains of 1,850% in 18-49 compared to Fox Soccer Channel. In fairness, Fox Soccer Channel only averaged 2,000 viewers last Labor Day. FXX’s comedy retread-a-thon logged 54,000 viewers.
Moral of this story? It’s good to be the former Fox Soccer Channel.
Today’s lineup is a less marketable mashup of acquired series reruns and movies. On Wednesday night, however, FXX will hunker down with its signature series: It’s Always Sunny return for its ninth season at 10 PM, The League is back for its fifth season at 10:30 PM. And talker Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell expands to five nights a week, starting that night at 11 PM.

I wondered why The League was premiering so early this year. I guess the FXX launch has a lot to do with it. Not sure when they went into production, but it sure will be awkward if someone drafts Aaron Hernandez.

So my Comcast cable only has this in SD, ugh... The only things I plan on watching right now are Legit and Wilfred when it inevitably moves there. Maybe they'll give it an HD channel by then.

No access to FXX for me yet, as it is still categorized in the sports tier package according to my cable company.

Isn't this move gonna kill Sunny and the League's ratings? Who's gonna pay extra for this channel?

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
I have Charter and FXX isn't working yet (I do get the sports tier). Even if it was working, I still wouldn't get it in HD which means I'll be watching The League through other means.

I have the DirecTV Choice Xtra package, and feel like I pay a lot of money for very little in return. If I don't get FXX with my current package I am going to call them and tell them to fuck themselves that they will have lost a customer of 10 years.

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
I don't get that. It's HD where I live. I've wondered why we don't get Sundance Channel and TV Land in HD where I live and I understand other Comcast areas get those channels in HD, or from what I've read online. If it's all one big company, why can't they provide the same HD channels in all areas?

Re: FX launching new channel come September, FXX
They're both renewed for another year already, so they can't be too worried about that.
