Stupid kid. I'd be pissed if I walked 1,000 miles, went through all that bullshit, only to see the fool get himself killed within days of the rescue.
Yeah, I was totally after that.
That part made no sense.
"What is it, son? You don't want us to kill all those people? Well then, I'm going to let you roam free, so you can totally go warn them."

This show is really stupid at times, but to its credit I'm never bored and keep wanting to watch despite each episode containing several WTF moments that might be 'dealbreakers' on other shows.

Edit: Nevermind, I should have read the rest of the posts - its already been mentioned.
I agree - WTF! All that time trying to rescue him, they do and he dies what two days later?
I figured Danny would die eventually - but figured that would at the end of the season - like by the hands of
Tom Neville after saving his mom or sister. Well at least he went out a hero.

Finally saw it on Hulu.
He went out like an idiot. It was such a contrived death.
First, Miles should have fired the missile instead of stop to stare at the other chopper. Second, Danny just stands there after downing one chopper when he should have ducked for cover since there was no guarantee that was even the right chopper.
And don't get me started on Charlie's "we're gonna finish what he started" mini-speech.
At least there was lots of action.

Hahaha! This has got to be one of the dumbest shows on TV. Dumb, but fun.
How is it that after 15yrs the gas hasn't gone bad? Also, the chopper pilots skills were pretty damn good after 15yrs too.

I was amazed that the kids didn't just stare in awe of the chopper. Aren't we to assume that they basically never saw one in action? They were all real young when the power went out.
