With a four month break this might as well be season two.

Finally...

I hope enough people pick it back up so it'll get a full 2nd season.

The one good thing that both this and Grimm has that once they do come back, you get a large stretch of shows without any breaks.

Four months is an awfully long time. I nearly forgot about it. Damn this modern age with all it's distractions and choices.

It is a long break yet in some ways I like it, now it will flow better and it is not much different then any cable show aside from getting less episodes and a much longer wait. I also like having the shows I watch spread out over the course of a year. One show may be done for the season with some others showing, better then having everything at once.

Falling Skies is another one, perhaps even moreso, which always seems a million miles away.

All that work to get him back to do that?

Kind of feels like the actor had other things to do. Oddly enough I really do not care.

That kid was toast the moment she said she wanted him inside. Only thing missing was the tail rotor flying off and decapitating him.

Wow that was a pretty violent episode. I see why it got the Parental discretion disclaimer. Lots of bullets flying.

Anyways, I enjoyed it. Good, not great. Better than most of the episodes from the 1st half of the season. Surprised that they killed off Danny.

That whole sequence with the choppers and rocket launcher was pretty cool.

I was however disappointed by Elizabeth Mitchell and Tracy Spiradakos' acting in that scene. They both showed no range or emotional depth in that scene. It was almost like they didn't care that Danny died. I was kind of hoping that Fatso would take the bullets instead since he's such a worthless pussy.

Once I found out his back story that just made him worse, the idea that being with her and the group was somehow worse then being with just the group. What an idiot. And the idea that he did not have skills for that type of life is flawed in that he acts like he cannot LEARN how to do things. Well fifteen years later it looks like he never did. And food would be a bit more rare along with life being harder, how would someone not lose weight, gain some extra skills over that much time.

Not like there would be no time.

That was good!

Well, crap. Hulu doesn't have streaming rights for this episode, and I have troubles with the NBC streamer. I guess I am either out, or have a slightly longer wait if Hulu can straighten out rights. It was kind of marginal, anyway; no great loss.

If I had known in advance, I'd have recorded it and Hulu'd something else, but I was out of tuners, and it WAS the bottom of my list.

Got a 2.7 last night. Won the timeslot again in the demos. For a show being off the air for about 4 monhs, thats not bad. I have to wonder how this show would do if it didn't have The Voice as a lead-in.

Guess once people are reminded (likely still on peoples DVR's as well) they are watching just as they would any show that goes off during the summer or any cable show that is off for nine to ten months.

You can almost forget that a show exists when it is off for so long. (Almost)

That part made no sense.

I was more happy to see him beat the shit out of his Dad for him being such a dickhead and bully than the logic of it.

I think it's an NBC mandate that each episode have at least two moments of idiocy.

That said, I liked this one overall. It was good to come back with an action-heavy episode.

A whole season dedicated to finding him only to have the new season kill him off first thing? Huh? I am baffled with this show.

FYI for those who missed the episode, it's now on NBC.com, Hulu and Hulu Plus.
