My apologies. But look at the bright side, by the time you get episode 2 of season 3 you'll have forgotten all about it and be surprised all over again.

If I showed up at your house, and the Governor came to you and said, "hand over Buttmunker, or else I wipe out your whole family?" You gonna stand and fight for me? I don't think so!
Weren't we under the impression that Michonne had earned her 'place' with Carl the whole speech about 'she is one of us now'.

Don't apologize. It's been like 6 years... btw... Vader was Luke's father and Bruce Willis was dead. Get over it.

Vader is Luke's father? That's not true. That's impossible. Next you'll tell me Leia is his sister or something. Crazy talk!

Re: The Walking Dead -- "This Sorrowful Life" -- 3/24/13

Scott Gimple has been writing my favorite episodes of this series...I'm really excited to see what he'll do as showrunner - he understands that characterization is key.

Really upset to see Rooker go, but figured it was coming. WALKING DEAD has developed a nasty habit of getting rid of their best actors (Rooker, Bernthal, DeMunn) too soon and keeping their poor actors (Callies, Holden, and Gurira, to name a few) around too long. If they ever get rid of Reedus, I might quit watching!

Question: How did Merle know the Gov. and his gang would be at that warehouse? That's not IN Woodbury, correct? What were they even doing out there? I must have missed something.

Also, there's no way Merle would get his ass kicked by the Gov. realistically. The Gov. has only recently been a bad-ass...Merle's been one all his life - plus he probably outweighs the Gov. by 100 lbs.

Do you think Rick would let anyone even entertain the thought of someone turning over Carl "for the sake of the group?" Fuck no, they'd be out of that prison/or dead before the end credits roll. So Rick gets a pass because of some cheesy speech.
People will pass it off, but the writers have definitely twisted Rick as a character beyond recognition this season. He decides to trade Michonne and then suddenly calls it off? Rick should not be in charge after the antics of this season but he will be, by writer fiat.

I also think that Andrew Lincoln is in way over his head, or at least the character is now out of his acting range. I didn't have a problem with his performance the first couple of seasons, but he needs to lay off the zealous emoting in every line.

Because The Sopranos is totally as popular as those movies and Tony Blundetto is a household name.

He was flip-flopping ever since he came back from the meeting with the Governor. He told the group they were going to war, but in private he confessed to Hershel that the Governor wanted Michonne, and Rick was undecided at that juncture. He was undecided a day after. He was still undecided on the 2nd day, up until the moment Merle took matters into his own hands.

I'm for that, except Daryl shot Dale in the head back at the farm, so such a showdown will not be forthcoming.

Tune into NFL Network right now. They have a NFL Films presents Walking Dead segment with Hines Ward on the set.

It looks like this is a re-air from last Halloween. T-Dog is prominently shown.

Edit: It's over now. Ran about 8 mins.

Realistically there needs to be some kind of statute of limitations on spoilers. It's been a long time since that episode aired of the Sopranos.

However, as a common courtesy, especially in the TV Forums, it might be nice to spoiler things just in case.

For most of this season I have to take anyone going along with Rick is because they either agree with said action or they have nothing better. The moment he talked about trading people I would be, nope, your done, you have gone completely insane as NOT trading people and leaving is also an option.

I would seriously want to find a place to live where the closest people were at least a few hundred miles away, they were always far more of an issues then the walkers.

I don't know which bothers me more: the fact that Rick was willing to trade Michonne or the fact that Rick believed the governor would then totally keep is word and leave everyone alone. Actually I think it's the latter.

Especially when during the meeting, the Governor straight up said he wants them to surrender. Then all of a sudden he's just like "Just kidding! I only want Michonne. Come over for some lemonade after you hand her over!"

That is where the exchange was suppose to happen

Martinez/friends do a decent beat down Merle before the Governor got in there

The art of leverage. Merle may be a badass, but he's a badass with only one hand - considering that the prosthetic thing runs up his whole arm might as well make it that he only has one good arm. And the Gov is dirty. He chewed off Merle's fingers on the other hand.

Re: The Walking Dead -- "This Sorrowful Life" -- 3/24/13

I enjoyed this episode last night. Thought Norman Reedus' acting in that last scene with Merle was pretty stellar.

I agree with the earlier comment that Daryl stabbing Merle's corpse incessantly probably signifies alot of hidden hate he had towards his brother. Anyways, it was a pretty gripping scene.

at the Governor taking a bite off Merle's fingers.

to no dumb blonde this week.

Hopefully the finale will kick ass. Looks like the Governor is going declaring war on Rick and the prison. I fully anticipate at least another casualty or 2.

Season 3 may end with the death of everyone at the prison, and Season 4 will open with a new cast/group of characters.

yeah, once they decided to "marry", i think that pretty much sealed the deal.

I did like Glenn's way of "shopping" for a ring.
