Plot: Boyd and the Detroit Mob try every dirty trick there is to stop Raylan and Drew Thompson from leaving Harlan alive.

That speech Mike O'Malley gave in the bar to Ava was amazing. Didn't know he had that kind of acting ability in him.

Best episode of the season by far.

Good episode.

Hilarious they worked in YOLO for Oswalt. That's awesome stuff.

I was a little skeptical how they were going to pull off the police & marshals running in fear of detroit, given that even in the backwoods of kentucky, I'd imagine you could have 100 police officers there inside of 30 minutes. Ultimately they did it pretty well.

Wow, that was intense. It was almost a relief when it was over.

Oh, and Bob has some serious balls. I was cringing at that beating he took.

Loved the dialogue between Colt and Tim while the Marshals were sitting and trying to decide what to do.

I think all the people (mostly people I see in real life) who have been frustrated by this season will now see why it was all necessary. It's early to say for sure and there are plenty of shows left to air in 2013, but this may go down as the finest hour of TV this year in my book.

Excelllent episode, I truly didn't know who would live or die. Except Raylan & Boyd, of course.

Bob the Badass Constable. He toughed out that hellacious beating and still took down the bad guy. I loved Picker's reaction to that news.

Yea...the overall arch of this season hasn't been the best or most interest. But god damn... the dialogue has been the best it's ever been. Just amazing to watch.

Best-written show on TV I'd say. Loved how Bob stabbed YOLO and then pulled the knife down ("Him?")

Johnny's in deep trouble now.

I love how they let entire scenes play out on this show, instead of intercutting between locations. The Bob / YOLO and Ava / Augustine scenes come to mind. By letting them play out increases the tension immeasurably.

Yeah, intense episode last night. Agree that the arch this season hasn't been the best, but I'm enjoying several episodes this season more than any in the series.

They probably only wanted officers they trusted. Also, it all happened pretty fast and Harlan seems to be at least an hour away from everything.

Great episode. I wonder how the Johnny/Ava stuff will play out. I was kind of surprised Theo Tonin's guy was at the bar without any of his thugs to protect him. Unless you count Johnny

Re: Justified -- "Decoy" -- 3/19/13

They absolutely positively were looking for state police or federal assistance only. Bob only got called in when he killed one of those motherfuckers, and I think it's clear Raylan actually trusts Bob (even if he's sort of bumbling up until now).

To be honest, the most likely source of emergency help for them would probably be mine private security and even then that would be a risk. They played this right.

ETA: It will be interesting to see if they want to continue Oswalt on the show and if he wants to continue. If so, I expect he may be the next Sheriff.

Yeah, they could easily make Bob sheriff as a recurring role.

I thought they weren't going to get the car to explode because that throw was so off target and weak-armed, and it was going to be played for laughs. Luckily Tim had spilled the gas prior.

I loved this episode, and I'm just always happy to have this show on the air. This is one of the few shows that I have to watch the same night it airs because I don't want to wait even a day to see it.

Loved that Molotov Cocktail scene.

Same here.

I thought it was pretty funny for Augustine to make a joke about Boyd's teeth. Lem made a similar reference to Shane's teeth on The Shield.

I really couldn't stand Oswalt's character in the other episodes, but he redeemed himself in this one.

Would've been awesome if Ava killed Augustine. Sure, hell would rain down on them from Tonin, but it'd be worth it.

Re: Justified -- "Decoy" -- 3/19/13

Incredible episode! Pretty intense stuff in this one, yet the dialogue still is the top star.

I loved how Raylan couldn't get YOLO's name right.

And what was Bob's last Drew pun. The best I could come up with was Drew-sitania (a la Lusitania), not that it matters.

Can't wait until the showdown with Tim and Colton, provided of course, they don't do something stupid like take Tim off the show.

Re: Justified -- "Decoy" -- 3/19/13

They telegraphed the train escape a bit when Drew mentioned you could tell time by the coal trains, but another really top notch episode.

I liked the standoff between Tim and Colt, but I guess I missed something - was it clear why Colt shot the Detroit guy? Or is it supposed to be unclear at this point?

The Bob character has really grown on me. I thought initially the character was a bit over the top and was purely there for comic relief. While he's still comic relief, his character actually has mattered - I should have realized with the quality of writing on this show that they would make something out of the character.
