I doubt Tyrese and co are really gone. If they are, why even bother making that Tyrese? They could have just made it a group of randoms and make Rick feel guilty about kicking them out be the reason he let the next group (Tyrese's) stay.
I'm also surprised Daryl's reaction to seeing someone who was likely a lactating mother wasn't to try to get her to the prison so she could feed Lil Asskicker.

I liked the shootout except for the Governor not getting hit by a single bullet even though he made no attempt to take cover. Chalk that up to cockiness, I guess. Or maybe he doesn't care about himself so much anymore now that Penny is truly gone. Axel's head shot was a surprise, as was the van full of zombies. Part of me expected soldiers from Woodbury to jump out, but part of me expected Daryl and Merle to emerge from the van.

During the Talking Dead, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman addressed where Tyreese’s group was. Robert Kirkman said, “They are not still in the prison. They left after Rick’s big episode at the end of the last episode.”
Robert Kirkman added, “But we don’t know where they are. Maybe, we’ll find out at some point in the future, maybe soon, maybe later.”

Jesus. Way to go off on a tangent. He said he's gone from the prison not the storyline. In your mind, Daryl was probably off the show for good after last week's premiere.

Personally, I thought this episode did a create job of character building.
The Governor is shown as more ruthless and manipulating than ever.
Darryl has shown how he has matured, honed his skills, and became compassionate.
Rick was shown as confused but understanding the images are not real.
Meryl is beginning to realize that he is no longer THE badass.
And for the first time, I think the prison group has been able to see and realize Michonne's (sp?) asset to the group. Just space out the zombies in an open areas and a sword becomes the weapon of choice. The same cannot be said against live people with guns though.
I missed the whole part during the show where they said that Tyreese and co. had moved on from the prison. That is the main reason I read these threads to catch what I may have missed. Thanks for that.

I still don't get the motivation behind Michonne's attitude. Where's all the mistrust and anger coming from?

I thought it was awesome, except for the stuff with Andrea. Every time she's on screen, I hate her a little more. Ugh.
Everything else was awesome. Daryl standing up for himself, the shootout stuff, the rescue of Rick and Hershel. I kept expecting Axel to turn bad, so I was really caught off guard when he got shot.
I think anyone who thinks Tyrese and Co are not coming back after they spent 2 episodes introducing them is out of their minds.
I'm sure they will show up in time to help defend the prison from the governor, or something like that.
And I still think Merle will die before the end of the season.

How'd the Governor get someone in the tower? I was a bit confused.
So sue me. It just seems like he'd have run out given how many he's used in the show at this point and had to leave behind.
This complaint is still being made? During that bridge fight in this very episode they seemed to make an (annoying) point of having Daryl retrieve every single one of his fucking arrows and take time reloading them into his bow. It only slowed the fight down for me, but I assume this was done for people like you in the first place.
And yet, still the complaints are made.
