Has season two reached the level of season one...no, not yet. But, I do not agree with some of the venom for the last episode. I mean, this show is not meant to be The Wire...there is a dose of realism, but there are so many things that would never happen in reality. And yet no one complained then.
And we are certainly not at cougar level...not even close. Season two has been entertaining and suspenseful, but to to the level last season was. To do it in numbers, tension in s1 - 10 & tension in s2 - 8.5. That being said, I was on the edge of seat for the last two episodes and have enjoyed everything thus far. |

I have never said that I don't have Showtime. I just have never heard of the show other than the commercial where the characters from the show are in some guy's kitchen and the guy mentions that he's about to watch an all day marathon On Demand.

What's wrong with inspiring shows ? And I don't hate every good show on tv. Just the really overrated, unoriginal ones. Dragon Tattoo, as I've said before, just because you like a show doesn't make it good. I like the 90s Fantastic Four cartoon. But is it a good show ? Hell, no. It has flaws all over the place. But it's entertaining. I also like Dark Shadows. But is it a good show ? Again, hell no. It, too, has multiple flaws. But it's fun to watch.
Homeland is a very good show despite a few convenient plot points. Some of the best acting on television, tight storyline, very high production values. Breaking Bad is a very good show due to the excellent acting, tight storyline, and professional production Dexter will be a little more arguable, the acting is all over the place, the story lines are sloppy and frankly I find it boring. True Blood is trash TV to the max. |

Season 1, I agree with the OP that I liked it quite a bit but didn't understand why it was hyped up as much as it was. Season 2 wasn't anywhere close to season 1. Plot holes galore.

Yeah, after seeing all of Season 2, Season 1 was better. Not to say that Season 2 wasn't good.
