TVline.com just confirmed that the writers of Last Resort are writing episode 13 as a "series finale"
So don't throw in the towel yet if your still watching.

The question is - are they going air the remaining eps in the same slot, burn them off somewhere, or never air them (relegating them to DVD/streaming)?

Just got caught up with this show over the holiday. I had seen it was cancelled, but had heard and read really good things about it. I wasn't disappointed. This show is outstanding.
If "Jericho" could be resurrected by mailing in peanuts, one would think that something could be done to save this show, or at least extend it further. If nothing else, I am looking forward to six more episodes. It's great. Looking forward to Thursday night.

send five dollar footlong subs to abc, I guess?
I thought it was a good premise, but man have they've been putting plenty of starch into this sucker to stretch out the story.

Shawn Ryan can't seem to catch a break (Terriers, The Chicago Code and now this). Per Shawn Ryan's Twitter feed, all 13 episodes will air.

Shawn Ryan needs to develop something for basic/pay cable again. He's a talented guy but I haven't been into anything he's done on network tv (Terriers excluded).
Watched two eps. of this one and just knew it was going to be canned. Too many choices out there to settle for mediocrity.

I agree my wet dream would be another Shawn Ryan FX series (I'd almost say AMC but they don't have the track record).
Actually, it would be sort of fun to see him take on the USA idiom of shows instead of the FX one.
I'll be there front and center for Beverly Hills Cop if it gets off the ground, but I have to admit that unless it is superb, I will secretly be rooting for it to die so we can get something outstanding like Terriers.

I noticed at Metacritic.com that this show is the highest rated new fall show among the Users:

I thought it was pretty compelling.
