I'm considering subscribing to SyFy just to record this. When's the next broadcast?

It's been reported today that this was the most Tweeted TV movie of all-time on Twitter last night. It averaged 5,000 tweets per minute.

Re: Sharknado

It was terrible. So terrible that I stopped watching but checked at the end to see if the Bad Robot logo popped up.

Re: Sharknado

Looks like the studio/distributor The Asylum, responsible for Sharknado, has a whole library of these "mockbusters" movies. Some of them seem like they could be pretty bad in a fun way, for example:

Atlantic Rim (a riff on Pacific Rim) starring David Chokachi (Baywatch),
American Warships (Battleship) starring Mario van Peebles and Carl Weathers,
Alien Origin (Prometheus) starring no one,
Bikini Spring Break (Spring Breakers) starring Robert Carradine,
and 11/11/11 (11-11-11), I'm not sure how they get away with the title on that one.

I noticed Richard Greico was in a few of the movies as well.

This doesn't appear to be on next Thursday. Anyone have confirmation on if or when this will air again?

Re: Sharknado

I want to see a video game. It would be like Left 4 Dead but with sharks instead of zombies.

Re: Sharknado

The Asylum are always at SDCC and cant wait to get this title ! They always have DVD/$5 and Blu/$10
Last year they gave me and my kids a bunch of free shit and everyone is really cool. Had the Director of The Haunting of Whaley House sign a DVD for me.

More like The Asylum Films are who they call when they need some gas money.

Horrible movie. Glad I was able to watch it while fast forwarding.
Tara Reid was truly bad.

Re: Sharknado

I watched it today. 100% what I expected. There's no point in nitpicking what's wrong because everyone who worked on this film is guilty. Everyone. But it's kinda rad in that they clearly know what movie they're making. Except for Zering, who truly seems to think this role needs depth or emotion.

And as someone from So Cal, the geography they used for the film was so laughably wrong.

Re: Sharknado

Tara Reid and Ian Ziering I can understand, but John Heard? What the hell is HE doing in this? Wasn't he a serious actor at some point in his career?
