does it seem strange that they'd allow people, especially a first term congressman, to take cell phones or other electronics into the room to watch a classified op happen live?
other than the people directly involved in the op, I'd see them needing their laptops or other stuff

I grumbled a little when Brody was brought into that meeting, knowing exactly what was going to happen, though I did joke around a little in regards to assuming that if he had AT&T cell service, the bad guys would never have gotten the text message in time.
Other than that, I am enjoying things greatly... still the best two hours of tv sundays on Showtime

I literally said "holy shit" out loud when they revealed that video card there at the end. I didn't expect that until maybe the season finale or something along those lines. It sucks that this likely means the end of Saul, since he is one of my favorite characters on TV right now.

Mandy Patinkin is the best actor on a show filled with fine acting. It'd be a shame to see him killed off so early. I think (and hope) that this video surfacing pays off with Saul holding it close to the vest, perhaps realizing (correctly) that there's a mole at Langley, slowly bringing Carrie in more and more without having her completely reinstated.
Apropos of nothing, but I never found Claire Danes particularly attractive (nor unattractive) until she started playing crazy. That probably says more about me than my last Myers-Briggs evaluation (ENFP).

She is one hot crazy mommafracker. Carrie's still my favorite character. It broke my heart that she had electroshock to convince herself of something that was wrong. I hope Saul shows her the video and she gets her convictions back soon.
How long is Brody gonna stay Nazir's best bud if Nazir keeps playing hardball with him? Brody's getting accustomed to power, even as his secrets keep piling up. I really dread any of his family finding out he's more than just a muslim.

Yeah, Claire Danes has always been hot to me but more so now than ever. She has a very odd look about her, always has, but her being crazy and everything is great. I loved her smile after she took out that one guy in the clothing vendor and she walked away all freaked out, and it morphed into a shit eating grin as she walked away. That was fantastic.
I have a feeling this all ends, or at least the next major plot point, when everyone finds out that Brody is a converted Muslim, and it ends his political career and everyone who is friends with him now turns on him. I see that being the launching pad for him to really take the crazy to a whole different level.

If that happens, it wouldn't shock me to see him flat out end up in the middle east as the right hand man to Abu Nazir.

The biggest question is when Brody is going to bed down with Roya Hammad. (Who is WAY more attractive than Claire Danes, BTW.)

Walter White.
Yeah, I get the impression that everyone thinks Brody is the main and only plot line in this show. I could easily see Brody busted early and the show going in all sorts of directions. Fuck Brody. Bring him down.

Either way, I love the show and I have faith in what they do. This may be my favorite drama right now.

They could turn Brody into an asset for Carrie and move on to a new story where he can offer assistance in an episode or two.

Yeah, I could easily see Brody taking on a "Hannibal Lector" type role initially (where he aids Clarice Carrie from behind bars), and at some point something happens that requires him to be in the field.

i do agree with WW being a worthy contender, but I think Daines has edged out Cranston.. she is just killing it right now...

They could always go the route of having him turned back to anti-Nazir I suppose? But yeah, as much as I like him, I don't want to see Brody playing mole for that much longer.

I just caught this last night and it was great as usual.
The sequence where they went to get Carrie's informant was very exciting. I loved how pissed Saul was at her when she finally got in the car.
Loved the ending with Brody's tape re-emerging. I really want to see how this plays out.
If I really wanted to nit pick, yeah it was kind of bullshit that Brody was able to send out that text to Nazir warning him about the attack. Being in a classified highly secured room, you would think that would be caught by someone. But, nonetheless, it did make for an exciting sequence.
