Brady being surrounded by the government texting Nazir, "bad guy", about forces on his trail/Damon texting Nicholson, "bad guy", about cops on his trail

That video came to light a lot quicker than I thought it would. I'm trying to figure out why it would be in Beirut though, in a hezbollah leaders possession. I wouldn't think the route back to abu nazir would go through there.

Great episode - liked how the brass in the Pentagon situation room looked a lot like the photos you see of Obama & company in a similar room during the operation that killed Osama.
I guess Brody must feel a lot of loyalty to Nazir. He could have been free of any obligation to do dirty work by letting him get shot. That whole sequence was really well done. Loved the ending, though I too didn't expect that video to come to light so soon. I kind of wonder why it would be there too, now that Dave99 mentions it, especially what is probably a year or more later. I can't wait to see what the CIA does with the information.
I wish this show would make more use of its hour. Taking out the time for the opening credits and the "previously on" stuff, this episode was less than 45 minutes long.

Great episode that just keeps you riveted the whole time. What is great about this show is you just don't know where they are going with the story. You are waiting for one thing to be revealed, and then something else is revealed earlier then you think.
I will continue to say that Homeland and Game of Thrones are the 2 best shows on TV right now, IMO.

I'm really wondering where they go with this. I was surprised by how quickly they pulled the trigger on the confessional video.

Totally agree, as I thought that would be a plot point in the Season 2 finale. I worried where they were going to take the show after last season, but it seems like they are pretty good at keeping the viewer guessing with all the plot twists.

does it seem strange that they'd allow people, especially a first term congressman, to take cell phones or other electronics into the room to watch a classified op happen live?
other than the people directly involved in the op, I'd see them needing their laptops or other stuff

There can be a lot of nitpicks with this show, with these kind of shows. But in this particular case, they make you don't care too much about those details. OTOH reality is sometimes worse than fiction, if you know what I mean.
I know it's not that kind of show, but I would hate it if Saul keeps that information to himself for a long time.

I was moreso expecting
Glad they didn't cop out and have the informant get taken down during the evac. That would have been way too cliche.
Overall though I wasn't too into this episode, but the final two minutes was quite the payoff.

He sure didn't seem to struggle with warning Nazir, just more that he might get caught doing it. But you raise an excellent point. It really seems like it would have been better for him to let Nazir get taken out. Though I suppose a case could be made that there could be some concern about what Nazir's underlings/replacements might do with the info on Brody assuming they get access to it. At least with Nazir around and in control Brody only has to keep him happy.

That scene with Nazir had a little too many 24-style coincidences for my liking but the ensuing chase scene and the ending made up for it.

Did not see the ending coming at all (but we all knew the video would resurface). But it makes sense...something big had to come early on in order to get Carrie more firmly in with the CIA.
