POI and certainly grown on me this Seasons.
Elementary still seems like a House-wanna be and I've never really like Johnny Lee or Lucy Liu.
We'll see if this show gets a Third Season (which by default means a Fourth).

That was an interesting development at the end of last night's episode. In a bit of devastating news, Elementary will not be released on Blu-ray. The DVD set has already been announced. The studio must believe only older people watch the show.

"Devestating" is a STRONG word my friend... more of a first world problem me thinks.

It's not devastating on the list of global problems, but it's certainly devastating for the fans that want to see Elementary in its best quality on home video. It will be made available as HD downloads, but once a current show gets passed over on Blu-ray for the first season, it never eventually makes it to the format.

Episode 23 and 24 of 24
This show rarely gets talked about here. But I figured the 2 Hour Finale deserves a thread at least.
I'm going to try to catch up with this show during the summer.

First Watson, now Moriarty... Although I do have to say I like that change. Shame that they are killing off some "good" bad guys with Vinnie Jones and Vosloo.

Good series and season final, I try not too think too much about who could be who or what so I do not figure anything out this I did not see that coming. In some ways I almost want the villain to have another plot ready to go yet at the same time I want them caught. And another thing I like is how they bookend the season, I really wish all shows would do that, not a fan of cliffhangers for a number of reasons.

I liked the season more as it went along. Natalie Dormer was a nice addition. Enjoyed the last couple of episodes with the battle of 'M' heating up.

This is my favorite new show of this last season. I'm glad it got picked up for a second season. I thought the finale was great, and it's nice to see Holmes' appreciation of Watson grow.

I'm not a fan of CBS shows but gave this a try..took a bit to grow on me but now really like it. Cool finale and was nice to see Natalie Dormer. She probably had as many scenes in this episode as all of Game of Thrones thus far. One thing, as perceptive as Sherlock is, I'm surprised he wasn't able to ever suspect that she wasn't a British person doing an American accent.

Things I didn't like:
- Combining Irene and Moriarty
- Making Moriarty hands-on and visible to so many people after being invisible so long.
- Moriarty captured. Sure she can still get away, but I'd have preferred Sherlock know who she is, but she goes free.
Things I didn't mind:
- Moriarty is female
The show managed to keep my attention for the whole season, even though I initially considered it much like The Mentalist, which I'd dropped during the first season. Part of it is the concept, construction, and execution, but at least part of it is because I never seem to get tired of watching Lucy Liu. I think she's an actress with limited range, but she finds a way to make it work.

This episode had a series finale vibe to it for me. I wonder if perhaps its creators were concerned that they wouldn't get a second season.

I was upset they trashed the Irene Adler character in one fell swoop and the idea that Moriarty was able to pull off the charade for so long over Sherlock. When we saw Irene Adler alive in the previous episode, I had pretty much figured out that was the direction they were going to take with the character. I did like the ruse that Sherlock pulled at the end, though Moriarty taking that much of a risk after the big score seemed like a stretch.

I felt the same way at first but after I thought about it some more I realized that "love" explained both of the the things that bothered me. Love blinded Sherlock to what Irene really was and also blinded M to the obvious trap in the hospital.

Exactly, that's why Holmes said that Watson had "solved" her. Neither Holmes nor Moriarity could see the blind spots their feelings caused for each other. I am not a Sherlock Holmes purist and I thought it was compelling and will continue to be in future seasons.

I was hoping as the episode developed that they would pull out the twin card with Irene, especially after they brought up that red herring about the moles on her back.

I am thinking the same thing, it could still be written that way, I am fine with her being Moriarty it just seems she was too exposed once we knew, does not seem like something Moriarty would do or to say things that could be used against her.

It took me a few episodes, being that Watson was female and the different vibe to it. I read the books as a kid and what not, but don't remember too much details about his drug history. Loved the shocking last few episodes and how everything tied together. Such a damn shame that this show doesn't get watched by more people. Wonderful acting and stories.
