Okay, I am late to the Breaking Bad fan club. I spent the last four weeks watching from season one up to the mid season of five and Hank's discovery of the book on the toilet. It is incredible to see Walt's metamorphosis from chem teacher to meth kingpin in a month's worth of viewing, especially since i began watching with absolutely NO prior knowledge of anything about this show. His manipulation of Jesse and Skyler has been insane. The poisoning of the child, Fring's assassination, Mike's death... Walt is so completely down the rabbit hole, and I cannot wait to see what happen's next.

Finished the second season. Again, poor Jesse.

For the people that marathon the show for the first viewing, how much do you hate Walt? I think watching week to week, year to year, makes it less hard. Marathoning the show, Walt is a big asshole, every episode is all about him and nothing else.

Yesterday I watched the episode were he received the news that he was in remission, so he decided, for the first time, that he was retiring from the drug business. And then finds out that some losers are trying to create the product, and he changes his mind.

Also, marathoning the show you can see how Cranston is winning all those Emmys, and wonder why Aaron Paul has won only twice.

...And wonder how Jonathan Banks has only been nominated once (this year).
