I guess that makes sense. If you figure each roaster goes for about 10 minutes average or so, that's about 2 hours of raw footage for them to work with. Including breaks, that's probably about 2.5 hours that people are sitting there. That sounds tolerable.

Great roast, a step up from Sheen's which was unmemorable. I loved seeing the other roasters lose it during Gottfried's set.

Also Katey Sagal looked impossibly good for 58.

She's three months older(!) than Ellen Barkin. How does that work???

BTW, saw Jeff Ross's show The Burn tonight and thought it was pretty funny. It is very similar to the old Showbiz Show with David Spade. He referred to the Roseanne Roast a couple of times, including to the joke that got cut.

Also for those who enjoyed Amy Schumer she has a special on CC Sunday night.

Are you thinking of Kevin Connolly? He was the son on that other show, Unhappily Ever After with Nikki Cox.

Who would have ever thought during Married With Children's heyday that 20 years later, I'd much rather bang the mom on that show than the daughters on that show AND Unhappily Ever After?

I loved Jane Lynch's line about Ellen Barkin, saying most people know her from films like "Diner" and younger people know her from fucking her.

I wish I enjoyed this as much as most of you. The only people I thought did a good job were Amy Schumer and Tom Arnold. I usually love Gilbert at these roasts, but I didn't care for the Rozilla stuff.

The moment backstage with Tom and Roseanne was simultaneously touching and extremely awkward.

Her material and delivery have gotten much better since she first started appearing on these roasts.

Anyone know who the blonde girl is that they cut to right after Roseanne says she'd be thin too if all she ate was pussy? The way they cut it, it made it seem as if Jane Lynch was pointing at her. She seems familiar. Can't quite place her and it's bugging me.
