Skylar is totally justified in feeling the way she does. Walter is a total black hat now. He's completely lost his way, and is addicted to his new purpose in life. Sure, he started this life to provide for his family, but that doesn't really seem like the purpose of his exploits anymore. That said, I still find Skylar unlikeable, just because she isn't a fun character to follow. To make a ridiculous analogy, she's like GI Joe, where Walter and crew are like Cobra. Cobra was always more interesting.

If this was The Wire they would all be in jail already with the cell phone calls.

Except on The Wire they knew who they were tapping, and actively monitored them. Here, they're still shooting in the dark as of now.

If he ain't, he will be in a few seconds. It'd be interesting to see who comes forward to take the kill shot though. Probably Mike or Todd considering the reactions.

I was thinking Walt, since he seemed so excited (with all the clapping and carrying on).

In case you're serious, the clapping was before the kid got shot.

The GIF in this thread clearly shows Walt clapping after the kid got shot.

The GIF is wrong. They clap after the successful heist then they get all quiet when they turn and see the boy. Todd shoots him as Jesse screams and clutches his head. The boy falls and we see a close-up of the spider in the jar. CUT TO: credits.

Have to disagree. Clip is in this very thread. What do you expect when Larry David wrote the episode?

If Hank knew, we would all know that he knew. The guy would be flipping the fuck out if Pinkmen flipped, and told him all about Walt in the process.

When the Breaking Bad episodes air on Cox Cable over here, they're always followed by a sneak preview consisting of a very short collection of clips that are each a few seconds long. The preview for next week
Spoiler:
includes a shot of the camera pointed at the ground showing us a bare hand sticking up through dirt. So, unless it was just a temporary solution until they thought of a more permanent one, I guess they opted to dispose of the kid by burying him somewhere. Another shot shows a furious Mike throwing Todd up against a chain link fence.

Yeah, no law enforcement outfit would (or could) include a kid in their operation like that, barring some incredibly extreme circumstances.

Matt,

Seriously, quotes like the above are why they created SPOILER tags. Please use them if you have credible insight to future episodes.

Good point but it does seem like Hank suspects Meryl Streep.

Too funny!

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- A man accused of violating his probation in a methamphetamine manufacturing case in Tuscaloosa County has hit the top of the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office most wanted list.

And he shares a name with a famous fictional meth cook -- Walter White of AMC's award-winning drama series "Breaking Bad."

Walter Eddy White, 55, was on probation in Tuscaloosa County beginning in 2010 after being arrested in 2008 on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of precursor materials, according to court documents.

He violated his probation in January 2012 after being arrested on the same charges in Bibb County. Tuscaloosa County Circuit Judge Brad Almond ordered a writ to be issued in the case on Aug. 9 after White missed a July court appearance, according to court documents.

White's last known address is in the 22000 block of Eastern Valley Road in McCalla.

Anyone with information about White can contact the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 205-752-0616.

Bump.

I'm rewatching the series, and I just got to Peakaboo (s. 2). The opening scene absolutely blew my mind with how it parallels this one.

I googled it, and found this: http://seriable.com/breaking-bad-5-0...terthoughts/2/

I'm still catching up with this season and got around to watching this episode the other night. Amazing stuff (as always). Regarding that article you found...I don't recall reading that level of analysis on a show or episode since the finale of The Sopranos. Good stuff  and yes, it somehow makes me appreciate this show even more (didn't think that were possible).
