I felt that way during Season 3 and abandoned the show during Season 4.

Yeah so they can replace it with an animal hospital show. I'm almost done with network television.

I felt like the show lost some steam in S5 but rebounded in S6. Will be very sad to see this go after S7. The writing and characters are just so damn funny. I've enjoyed rewatching the entire series again from the beginning. The jokes really hold up on multiple viewings.

Do you not pay attention to ratings? The show already has enough episodes for syndication and it's ratings have been in the dumps for years (well, since it's inception). NBC has a better chance with trying to launch new shows that are less expensive.

Oh I understand and I'm glad the show has managed to make it this far. My point is I won't be watching much network tv at all. Thursdays on NBC was one of my favorite nights for years. While 30 Rock's ratings were never good it was NBC's critical darling.
