1 live episode, 1 Queen of Jordan episode...only need ideas for 11 more.

They sure tried with Seasons 4/5 though! Luckily they rebounded!

Its not what it was. And Im def. bored of it. Its ready to end for sure. But its nowhere near as bad as where The Office is now.

It still has its moments like last night with the return of Avery and the beginning of the 6th season was strong though it slowed down in March and April.

Funny you mention that. He's the reason I stopped watching a few seasons ago. Not funny. Not at all.

I recently have given up on 30 Rock. I feel like five seasons of a show is just right. It's usually around season 6 that things start going down the crapper...

They're only counting the funny seasons.

That sounds about right.

The show hasn't been decreasing in quality, it's just a formula you don't need 10+ seasons of.

I didn't start watching till the second or maybe third season. But I just started watching this on Netflix.

One, Tracy Jordan was really thin when he started.

Two, the show was much more grounded in the begining.

I love the show. But it was certainly different in season one, and a little bit of two.

I watched each episode twice in the early years but only catch random episodes on demand these days. Every now and then I think I should start watching again but there are too many other priorities.

This show is still hilarious.

I agree with PcTCt.

I just rewatched every episode on Netflix and, while individual episodes would increase or decrease in quality, the show itself is pretty consistent throughout.

Agreed. It's remarkably consistent, IMO.

Okay, towards the end of Season 1 is when I started watching. I remember the episode with Paul Rubens. And that's one of the first 'crazy' episodes.

Also, at one point did they hire that writer who adds little funny extensions to the characters' sentences? Season 3? I always thought that was a little odd, because all of the actors started delivering those types of lines - not just one.

Some casting news -
Spoiler:
Bryan Cranston and Catherine O'Hara
will be playing Kenneth's parents for an episode this season. Kind of wish they worked Geena Davis in.

When I first saw this thread I thought maybe they decided to add additional episodes or decided this was not the final season.

A huge loss on Thurs nights once it is gone and should have gotten better ratings over the trash CBS, FOX, and ABC air at the same time.

Re: 30 Rock officially gets it's 5th, and final season

30 Rock used to be one of the funniest shows on TV, but now I only watch it out of habit. I find there's only one really good joke per episode, sometimes only one good joke per two episodes. Smart decision on ending it now.
