No. But considering he was directing an episode of Modern Family for the network, he could easily film a 2 second clip to be inserted into the end of a promo for their new show. Its pretty obvious this is what happened considering he is not on the show.

But if you remember...people from Cougar Town "easily just dropped in on other shows" on the ABC network during their hiatus.

The only thing that really makes me laugh are the two lead girls - not because they're funny, but because they look funny. Seriously, with their improbably huge eyes, they look like cartoon characters, resulting in exaggerated facial expressions that make otherwise unfunny bits seem more amusing.
