Firs time I'VE said it was the worst though. I thought it was really a horrible half hour of television. The only episode I haven't liked in quite awhile though.

I think they are trying to start memes with Faith Hilling & Taylor Swifting.

No, I'm with you there. This has been a weak season so far but really, there have been far worse episodes.

Madcougar thought the premiere was the worst episode ever, Deftones thought last week was, then Shady12 thought this week's was. I'm assuming you guys are fans of the series but have you not seen every episode? The show has been really out there at times.

Who has dibs on next week's being the "worst episode of the series"?

I don't think anything will ever top the Jar Jar Binks episode as the worst in my book.

Re: South Park - Faith Hilling (03/28/12)

This season just hasn't been that good IMO. It seems like we get maybe 1 or 2 classic episodes during a half season, and these 3 just seemed to fall flat.

My opinion doesn't really matter as fanboys that have drunk the koolaid will keep saying things like "Another classic episode" or "I never stopped laughing."

I'm hopeful that we'll get one soon that everyone can agree is good.

If you try to turn a South Park gag into a meme, you're going to have a bad time.

I liked this episode, so does that make me a fanboy that drank the kool-aid?

I think you missed the point. I was just commenting about the blind loyalty some have and think every thing is gold. Plus it's just my opinion, so it doesn't matter anyway.

South Park does seem to have inspired "ginger abuse."

By your definition I probably qualify as a fanboy then. I don't think that every episode is the best they've ever done or anything like that but the way some people come into threads week after week and bitch lately is rather annoying. There are far worse things on television and South Park may not be in it's prime anymore but it's still generally a good show.

That could be explained by the manatee tank they had installed.

I'm wondering when they're going to do an episode on the Martin and Zimmerman story?

There's nothing else says awesome south park plot like the murder of a young boy.

No i was thinking along the lines of The town of South Park banning the Hoodie. Lots of potential there.

Cartman shoots and kills a hoodie-wearing Token one rainy night? Then Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton show up and hilarity unsues?

In all fairness to the show, have they ever done satire over a recent murder story?

They did Gary Condit about six months after the fact.

And they also looked like dicks, too, because it turned out he had nothing to do with her murder.

I forgot about that. I remember him and O.J. in Butters' Very Own Episode. Murders are murders (regardless of who did it), but even then the crime itself wasn't really parodied. If it was just some Joe Schlub who became a media-celeb (like Zimmerman), I couldn't see it being a basis for a show.

Re: South Park - Faith Hilling (03/28/12)

It was funny seeing them use the word "meme" so much considering how they misrepresented Richard Dawkins years ago.

I've read all his books and he never once condones scissoring.
