Good episode, though I'm a sucker for the retelling-from-different-perspectives device.
Looks like they're going to drag the will-they-or-won't-they till the very end of the season. Hope they don't make another season-ending cliffhanger about it, though.

We already have had shootings and random bombs going off so I'm going with car crash at the end of the season...

Is that too much like the car-driving-off-the-pier cliffhanger, though? Maybe it'll be a plane crash.

oh I'm sure it's ending with her about to say something, as in her turn to share and then something bad happens to Castle.. Right? It has to be his turn to be the cliff hanger I would guess..

Good episode, I felt so bad for Castle and at this point I do with the writers would make a decision about that relationship and go for it. There's a line between unresolved sexual tension and annoyance and while I like the will they or won't they banter, we're starting to move toward the annoying territory.

Especially when we have to retread the same "You have to tell her how you feel" territory every time any whisper of a new development happens.

They are way into annoying territory with the will they or won't they. I don't mind it when that is in the background, but the tension and near misses have gone on too long. Another season ending with her mad at him because of her past, or his secret, or ... I'd rather just have the inevitable cliffhanger be a bomb going off, and we wait until September to see how the cast survived. Remember that bomb in her apartment? That's a good season cliffhanger.
I can't imagine to real, live people waiting as long as these two have - it's not like they are married to other people, or even dating anyone else. It took my wife and I six months to go from "good friends" to being engaged, and that's about as long as I've seen any couple take to transition from friendship to relationship. This run on of years is getting silly, and it's annoying when the alternative is time spent on the great humour and fun that this cast can deliver.

You and your wife think each other is a good mate. Beckett has a thing for Castle, but she thinks he's immature and she's not sure she could deal with (or count on) him on a "rest of life" basis. Castle has traditionally been a Ms. Right Now kind of guy. He gets infatuated, then things don't work out and he gets divorced. I get what you're saying, but I think the delay in their relationship has been earned.
