I think he changed his mind. After he scratched up the hotel room card the look he gave to the camera was like he knew coming on to his boss was a mistake and maybe he didn't want to get the job that way.
The final scene was good. I like the Jim / Dwight relationship the best on the show. They're like Tom & Jerry. Fight most of the time, but every now and then they put aside their differences and hang out.

So how many episodes now have they bleeped out someone saying the f-word? I'm think at least 4 or 5 now. Is this like a new running gag or something?

While Pam in her day was way cuter than Kathy, today it's not even a question (although Jenna Fischer's real life baby making ways have made her breasts HUGE).
LOVED the last scene with Jim and Dwight discussing bananas foster...

"It gets easier and easier"
Stanley has been on fire in Florida.
I've missed most of this season but just watched the last 3 episodes and was surprised how funny I thought they were. The show had simply lost it last season IMO but if the last 3 were any indication they got something back.

Apparently James Spader is leaving the show after this season at his request.

not terribly surprising. they could just do away with corporate completely and i don't think i'd be upset.

Kathy is not hot. She is a little cute in a frumpy sort of way.

Good. Never liked his character. Or him for that matter. Wonder if this is the beginning of the end.
Meanwhile, NBC has also confirmed that James Spader is leaving "The Office" after just one season.
"Executive Producer Paul Lieberstein said: "James came to 'The Office' to play a role that was two scenes long in the season 7 finale. He instantly brought so much life and intrigue to the part that those two scenes became a season. James always wanted this to be a one year arc, and he now leaves us having created one of the most enigmatic and dynamic characters in television. He's been a great friend to me and the show, helping us successfully transition into the post-Michael Scott years, and I'm grateful for that. I'm already looking for ways to work with him again."
"The Office" has not been given the green light yet for a ninth season.

I had a conversation with a coworker where we both agreed that if you saw her in real life, you'd definitely think she's hot. But yes, The Office has a history of "plaining down" women. See Pam circa 2006.

I don't think most of the cast is movie star good looking too; just because of Erin and Kathy?

That scene did nothing for me, and I thought she was pretty cute beforehand. She has a weird body. She can't really be described as "thick" but she has a lot going on in a few key places.

Great episode, this Florida story arc is breathing new life into the show and makes me glad they haven't ended the series yet.
Kathy is quite cute by real life standards but perhaps only passably cute by Hollywood standards.
