FYI....Daytona 500 was rained out yesterday and has been rescheduled to air at 7pm ET tonight.
Check your DVRs and cancel the records. No new date has been set.

But it also said if it rains again and the race is rescheduled, the programs might still air. I'd just let them record as usual, then delete them if the race is on.

I just checked my Directv DVR to do list and the Daytona 500 is scheduled from 4:00pm to 9:30pm PT. House and Alcatraz was already removed.

Tivo still shows both as airing tonight so I'll be manually adding in the episodes when they reschedule in the guide.
EDIT: Thanks for the heads up by the way as I'm a few weeks behind on both shows and would have been pretty upset to see a race when I went to watch these shows.

Some guy on Twitter named "Masked Scheduler" says a scheduling update will be announced after the race is over.

Hopefully FOX doesn't dump them to Friday or Saturday night. Though it doesn't really matter to me as long as I know when to record them.

my guess is they just push everything back a week. I thought they usually gave themselves a week buffer just in case something like this happened.

House aired in Canada tonight, so it's out in the wild for those interested.
Fox also announced a bunch of scheduling changes that are coming up, including Touch being moved to Thursdays when it debuts and Bones moving to Mondays in April.

According to this Fox affiliate the preempted episodes will air in upcoming weeks but not on the same night.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Viewers looking for House and Alcatraz will be able to see their shows in the following weeks.
Due to rain, the Daytona 500 was moved from Sunday to Monday night, preempting Fox Monday night programming.
Next Monday, March 5th, Fox will air 2 hours of Alcatraz. The following week, March 12th, House will return at 8pm.

The rednecks must have been in heaven. Isn't the possibility of a fiery wreck the only reason people actually watch that dreck? Good God NASCAR sucks ass. All I wanted was to watch 40 minutes of Juggs running around but nooooo...instead a bunch of morons turning left was on. I'd guess the 5 seconds i had it on before I figured out what happened was the longest period of time NASCAR has ever been on in my house.
