Bumped for the new episode tonight. Also, I was thinking about all of these people with guns and planning to kill to protect their place. How many bodies do you think others would let them pile up before they just burned all their shit to the ground?

David Sarti, the big truck driver from the first episode says he had his guns taken away by the state for being deemed a "Mental defective" after the show aired:

Re: Doomsday Preppers Discussion Thread

Saw part of one with a normal looking suburban mom who was stockpiling for hyperinflation or some such fantasy. Anyhow, she's worried about her neighbors knowing she has all this bulk food, so she has it delivered in the middle of the night. By the pallet. By a tractor-trailer.

And then she appears on national television talking about it.

I don't think she's thought her cunning plan through very well.

I think that some of these people are just going to have to accept that no matter how much planning you do it is not going to guarantee that you get to live on while the rest of the "unprepared" world perishes. As I said before it will only take a family killing a couple of other people trying to protect their own interests before their property gets set on fire and goes up in smoke.
