In Search Of ... Nimoy Show

Didn't feel In Search Of, In Search Of, made for a good title.

A&E was showing this a few years back. Did they ever offer this via DVD, like most of their programs?

Anyone know were I could find these original, or slightly cut original shows? I know that the original opening was cut from the A&E showings, and had a more updated soundtrack and images.

Really looking for a few specific shows, but take whatever I can find.

Thanks

As far as I know there are no plans to release this on DVD. No VHS that I'm aware of, either. Your best bet at this point would just to be to watch clips on YouTube.

I watched this show back in the late 70's and early 80's as a kid and sometimes it was pretty creepy. I liked the episode that focused on Sasquatch.

I remember one that was "In Search of ... Underwater Psychic Archaeology".

I think they were running out of stuff to search for.

That show probably shaped little 10 year-old Numanoid's worldview more than anything else. Ah, the good old days.

The one where the metal transistor was stuck in an Ice age rock was pretty weird too.

In Search of Sasquatch, that was a kick ass In Search of. With Leonard Nimoy kicking out the jams.

I was really hoping that they would someday release this show and Arthur C. Clark's Mysterious World on dvd. Guess that is not very likely (although there is a Arthur C. Clark disc that has a few episodes). I'll take a look around youtube to get my fix.

The episode about the Count of Saint Germain freaked me out as a kid, especially the babbling cult members:

Oh, man... I'd buy this show in a heartbeat. I watched this obsessively during the original run.

I don't understand why they don't ever repeat this show.

Re: In Search Of ... Nimoy Show

For those (like me) who don't frequent the DVD talk section as much nowadays, it looks like this will finally be coming to DVD.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. Can't find out much about it other than one tin foil hat site.

You and me both brother! I used to watch it locally on Saturday nights at around 11, right before I had to go to bed. Creepy...
