Well....I dont think anyone saw that coming. Haha. The writers must feel like they really pulled one over on us.

Wow we all nailed it!

So I guess Dexter didn't see him at the school walking?

It became all to obvious when Travis helped Dexter in the elevator and left him alone.

I think I was more intrigued by revelation that the intern has the prosthetic hand in his apartment than anything else. I wonder where they're going with that...

Re: Dexter -- "Get Gellar" -- 11/27/11

So how did Travis have time to kill the guy, set up his body and the bowls of blood? I didn't think he was away from Dexter that long. Or did he return there after Dexter took him back to the hotel?

Biggest unbelievable moment though was the guy who could instantly recognize his IP address but didn't keep his wireless network secure.

I assumed he bought it from the auction.

I think Travis and the Prosthetic hand guy might be in cahoots.

^ sounds about right.

I wish we could gather all the writers together and say "we suspected Gellar was dead about 5 episodes ago"

I'm sure he did, but the ominous music sure makes it seem like something else is going on with this storyline. My girlfriend thinks he's a killer. I said something is going on, otherwise I can't see any point to this storyline, as it involves two brand new characters to the show.

For me, this was the most interesting part of the episode. I'm definitely curious as to where they're going to go (if anywhere) with this one.

Well I haven't been reading the threads and I was 100% surprised. Had no idea... (as I imagine most people were also clueless).

Re: Dexter -- "Get Gellar" -- 11/27/11

So know we can only hope that they show us Travis' real relationship with Gellar before he killed him. Was Gellar really the mean son of a bitch that they show us as Travis' Dark Passenger or is that Travis' conscious just trying to relieve himself of the guilt of what he is doing by putting it on Gellar?

Congrats to DeputyDave for being the first person to call Gellar being a figment of Travis's imagination. In the 8th post of the Season Premier thread!

Yeah we were right. While watching the show tonight, I had the idea that a great twist would be if Travis had a twin. Or they could save that for another season where they think there's only one killer but turns out to be twins. Anyway... yeah definitely like the storyline with the new intern. Was hoping we could see Batista's sister closer up.

Travis could have done all the killing/ set up at an earlier time way before their stakeout.

Saw it coming, yeah, but I expect it to ramp up now that the cat is out of the bag.

Overall good episode. Quinn is really circling the drain! hahaha

Well, the worst kept secret on this show is finally out.

Agreed, congrats to DeputyDave for calling it 9 weeks ago.

I don't know about everyone else, but the subplot with Quinn and Batista was fucking hilarious. Getting shit faced and losing your gun is one thing, but having a 1 night stand with some fat chick, who happens to be the Mom of one of the strippers.

The blood falling on everyone was great.

BTW, didn't someone mention it a week or 2 ago that LaGuerta is trying to cover up Matthews fling with that whore?

Re: Dexter -- "Get Gellar" -- 11/27/11

I was braced for the Gellar reveal either way, but now feel "meh" about it, but now Dexter's got his hands full showing his current adversary quite more than he should have. But it makes you wonder how messed up Travis is to do that to his sister.

I did think it was Matthews since she made that "mysterious" call. Just goes to show that the show is becoming way to predictable...and that 2 more season probably wasn't the best idea.

"That" makes you wonder? Not the fact that he's a delusional schizophrenic who keeps a dead man locked up in an abandoned church's basement? The sister killing was where you actually paused to wonder "Hey, this guy's pretty fucked up"...

The fact that obsessive internet nerds are able to predict a show that they spend waaay too much time thinking about is not proof that the show is becoming "way too predictable". No normal person predicts this shit. I've talked to four friends about this and none of them thought that Gellar was already dead.

It was pretty obvious when Gellar never interacted with anyone but Travis. They went out of their way to make sure he was ignored (the coffee shop, his face on the newspaper and no one noticing, showing up at random places etc.).
