They always have. The question mark has always been around marital status. The show calls her his wife, but articles in OC papers refer to her as his girlfriend.

They're not officially married. They've always said as such.
But it stands to reason she's still essentially his wife due to common law. So they'll just call her his wife.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
Brandi got offered 5 million to do a porno and said only for 10 Mil. and only with Jarrod but Jarrod said he was cool with her doing it on her own if she wanted to do that and they could really use the money and it could really help their business. She said she wants to get in better shape. The producers want to have Jarrod in it as a cameo along with Barry. It's going to be titled 'Whoreage Wars'. Dave is broke and has been borrowing from the Las Vegas Mafia to finance his business ventures for the past 2 years but they are getting tired of the losses. He is close to having his legs broken. He also has a micro penis which explains a great deal. Jarrod had to stop his affiliation with the Neo Nazi movement after he was asked to be on the show. One of the things he had to agree to was to stop going to rallies and whatnot so the show wouldn't end up in hot water. Jarrod said he would do the show but only if they didn't have any black people on it. Barry has been a porno producer for 22 years and has acquired a large collection of antiques and cars and decided to do the show so he could get his name out there more so it will help him get new talent in his films. Darrell almost went broke after getting hooked on meth 12 years ago but with help from dave's brother he was able to kick the habit and get his feet back on the ground. Dave's brother loaned him money once he was clean and he bought a 50K locker with it. He has been pushing most of his profits into the Subway restaurants he owns in So Cal. He had 4 when the show started and now 15 across So Cal, Arizona and Nevada. Brandon is the brightest star in the group. When he was 15 he was diagnosed as having a slight case of Cretinism and was forced to go to a special needs school. He has battled his retardation his whole adult life but seems to keep it somewhat retained on the show...

There's a Storage Wars: Texas marathon on, so I'm watching for the first time. Damn, these dudes sweat like mad. Those two fat guys are heart attacks waiting to happen.

Added Mo's friend who takes all the stuff he finds in the units and turns it into fine art and whoever the blond is.
I actually wish the ex NFL player was hired full time.

That dude pinged my gaydar even harder than the kid on Auction Kings (and I don't care if he's got kids, he sounds like a contestant on one of Tim Gunn's shows).
Was interesting to see tonight's episode. I didn't know the entire book depository in Dallas had become a museum, with Oswald's shooting perch blocked off. Kinda morbid in a way.

The show used to be about the "treasures" they find in these lockers, now it's basically a showcase for all the "characters" and their feuding and hamming up for the cameras. I still watch but basically for the trainwreck its become.
BTW, these guys have been in this business for years, why do they always, always gotta go to these "experts" to apraise? lol

Anyone catch tonight's? Barry lost his shirt again but that motorcycle was seriously bitchin'.
The whole nighttime cleanout of the locker with flares? Yeah, contrived. But not too silly.

Immigration?
At times, Mary can look cute on SW: Texas, but most of the time, especially when talking, I keep thinking she looks like Ugly Duckling.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
I kind of like this direction on SW:T of having buyers looking for materials for rework, rather than just stuff for resale. The valuations given probably aren't any more realistic than any other numbers that are thrown around on these shows, but it's a little different from the usual appraisal segments.

That was funny watching those two fat bastards playing tennis last night on SW:T. They probably needed an hour to recover after just that taping, too.

Ok, I know Barry and Kenny's whole 'Ghost' sketch at the pottery wheel was totally contrived, but I laughed. Wearing the gloves was a bit weirder.
Brandi, hungover. Have to wonder what she's like drunk.
Amazing the season is done already. Seems like it just started.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
I was in the area and visited Jarod and Brandi's store today. Learned a few things from the staff.
The dude who melted down was for real. There had been hints he was unhappy but that blowup was real. He left the filming location and they haven't seen him since.
90% of the store's inventory comes from lockers. That's remarkable.
Barry sells off his stuff to other people after keeping what he wants. Some times Dave, some times J&B, some times Darrell or other people.
Some storage companies won't let them shoot. A 2 hour auction can stretch to 7-8 hours for the shoot. They just don't like that.
Jeff is a much nicer guy than he comes off as on TV and has a good sense of humor about Internet hate. Someone called him Darrell's older, fatter brother and he laughed it off.
Many episodes are filmed in winter, but due to the locations (like the desert), they can still be brutally hot. Many facilities have no indoor air conditioning, making the shoots torture.
