If they would have gone to the REAL Gettysburg battle field the episode would have been much better.

I actually liked this episode, I thought it was about average for this season. Which isn't saying that much but still. Gabe as Lincoln was funny, it seems like they're trying to use him more. It's kind of strange that the CEO is constantly around the Scranton branch but it's probably best for the show at this point.

I'll finally say it. I miss Carrell. I kept thinking how much more inappropriate the motivational speech could have been coming from a Michael Scott while touring the GB battlefield. This show and to some extent this season has just kind of fallen flat for me. There's no more excitement about what stupid and inappropriate thing is the jerk gonna say or do next anymore? Therefore, I'll fall back on prior seasons on DVD for those cringe-inducing moments.

To me it's not about missing Carrell as it is about feeling that the show has run it's course. If it was Michael Scott in there for Andy I would just be thinking how it's just another retread of something we've been watching for years. The show still has it's moments and that's why I keep watching (I thought there were a few LOL moments the last two weeks) but it's fallen so far from what it was that I think it's time to wrap it up.

With that said if they rewrite Andy to be a different type of boss rather than trying to make him Michael Scott 2.0 I can see it returning to form a little bit.

What have ratings been like this season? That's what will most likely drive the decision on whether to keep fishing of cut bait. I think (or hope) that they find a way to have the series wind down before it goes too much further south.

It's the highest rated NBC comedy Thursday night. This episode got a 2.9 in the 18-49 demos, while everything else stunk.

Yeah, looking back I feel like Jim and Pam's wedding would've served as a nice wrap up to the series. Alas, money talks...

I gave up on the show this season. It really shouldn't have gone on without him. The show has a void.

The Battle of Schrute Farms was awesome. Not much else worked though.

I agree, not a great episode...but I have liked this season so far.
