I had no issues with his explanation as to why he converted to Islam. Assuming he was not strongly religious in the first place, I find it entirely believable that he would find whatever religion was available a comfort to him.

I think my disconnect comes at him being able to realistically find comfort in a religion held so closely by his captors.

and closely held by the man that comforted him, and that he loved. Look up stockholm syndrome, and it's not hard to believe at all.

I didn't see the twist coming either...but I think there may be even more...let's not forget that Saul FAILED his polygraph!

Incidently, Mandy Patinkin has given an Emmy-deserving performance on this show...he's the most interesting character I've seen on a drama in a long, long time.

And we know that Brody lied during his. There could be a whole lot more to this cover up or it could just be a bunch of red herrings thrown at us.

We also never saw the blond terrorist's confession. So we don't know what she actually said to Saul. This show has pulled the rug out from under me so I'm not trusting anything now .
