Some encouraging news to report.
ABC ordered 5 additional scripts last week meaning they want to see what the writers have planned should they get a back ordered.
Sony also hired Steven Maeda as the new showrunner. He previously worked on Lost, The X-Files and most recently Lie to Me.

I gave up on this show after the third episode. I love the look and the characters could be interesting but the plots and all the flashbacks don't appeal to me at all.

I have to agree. It was bound to be a weaker episode given the Maggie Ryan backstory episode from the previous week. The whole Laura story just felt SO heavy-handed/forced. I will say that the well-chosen music at the end when Kate and Niko split made that a really nice scene.
