I always thought they were just the "I wanna see zombie heads explode and guts flying everywhere and to hell with character development" crowd.

If he lives in England when he's not filming Walking Dead, then that's probably why he's only seen on Talking Dead in pre-recorded interviews. By the time WD and TD air, filming for WD has likely wrapped and he's back home. AMC probably figures it's not worth it to fly him back to the US to appear on the talk show.

Most (not all) TD live appearances occur after the character has died. Many fans speculate on character deaths based on announced TD appearances.

I could swear I have seen more interviews with Lincoln than most of the cast.

Also, a lot people go crazy when they hear him talk with his normal accent.
