It kind of felt like it had more seasons, but Phoenix Nights was more of spin-off.

I recently watched John Doe for the first time on Hulu and thought it started strong but got weaker as the series progressed. By the end I wasn't that disappointed it didn't continue.

PS. I will give it props for and handling it quite well.

Even though all 13 didn't make it to air, I'm going to count Knights of Prosperity. Loved that show. It and Miss Guided were entirely too ahead of their time and buried by ABC.

I agree with Miss Guided. I thought it was a strong show, but ABC doubled the episodes for burn off.

Same thing happened to Sons & Daughters. It was probably not mainstream enough for network TV.

Both Miss Guided and Sons & Daughters were mid season replacements that ABC bailed on really quickly.

If it met the criteria, it would be EZ Streets.

Shit...Off Center is on DVD too? I really need to look up these WB and TGIF shows and see what else is on DVD...Wonder if UnHappily Ever After is also on DVD...

I loved that show. Was so sad it got cancelled so soon.

The Prisoner (I've owned three different versions of this and sold the first two off before I watched them, but I do still have the BD).

Never saw any of these shows mentioned... but now I want to see firefly and freaks and geeks. The one that i remember being pretty good (maybe bc I was young at the time) and only lasting a season was Dead at 21.

Nothing to really add but love for Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, Wonderfalls and Undeclared.
