I just checked Jon Cassar's Twitter feed and apparently they wrapped production on the season 3 days ago. All 13 episodes are definitely going to air. A 2nd season is a question mark.

Going into the 11th inning. And this is baseball....extra innings could last hours. East and Central Markets are fucked tonight.

Going into the bottom of the Inning. Better hope for a walkoff, otherwise Terra Nova will be pushed back at least 1 hour.

I'm in the West coast, so my only concern if extra innings lasts too long, FOX may postpone this and House.

Game winning walf off Grand Slam by the Rangers.

If your in the East and not watching live, Padding 1 hour will do the trick.

A walkoff grand slam, no less.

This show is Voyager on Earth.

It sucks.

Amnesia, a virus and paint-by-numbers predictable all in one episode!?! At this pace the show could hit every damn sci-fi cliche by the end of the season.

I should just drop this already. It really is quite terrible.

Re: Terra Nova -- "What Remains" -- 10/10/11

Okay, Through 4 episodes this was definitely my least favorite. I know some of you are begging for a reason not to watch, but I'm in until the season finale. But, the plot for this episode wasn't really compelling.

The narrative was structured like an old Star Trek: TNG "Conflict of the week" episode.

An amnesia causing pathogen and go figure....Jim's cold virus was the cure.

It was somewhat interesting at the end about Josh trying to get contact with his girlfriend in 2149 and the bar owner ended up being a mole for the Sixers.

Next week's episode does look alot more interesting.

I hope he knows that it is going to be a longshot to get a second season and hopefully he wraps up it all up this year, but leave it open for another season.

I'm out.

If this was a Summer show, I'd probably last longer. But after watching the Pilot and half of the second episode...I just deleted it all. This is bad.

I think we were all thinking the same thing. Didn't take long for me to realize I was watching a Star Trek episode at a Federation outpost on a jungle planet.

Terra Nova Season Finale is scheduled for Dec. 19. The back 9 orders were not picked up.
http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2...9-103523/9479/

I am not sure this will get picked up next season as the show is very expensive and takes a lot of time to complete and the ratings are only mediocre.

It's been known for a few months that this was only going to be a 13 episode season. The cast and crew already left Australia after shooting the finale. If this gets a 2nd season, FOX is contractually obligated to order 22 episodes.

Braga!

From everything I have read, there will not likely be another season. The ratings keep falling, the show is too expensive and the critical consensus is abysmal.

I wonder if there was anyone who didn't figure out that Jim's cold was going to prevent him from getting the amnesia and provide an easy cure?

That was a no brainer. This episode wasn't written by Brannon Braga, who all you Star Trek nuts keep ripping on, but I think this type of Sci-Fi plot is so dated.
