No narration track yet? That was the big thing that I noticed.

Not a great trailer. But this is still at the top of my must-see list, and has me more excited than any movie coming out this summer.

So a few weeks ago I totally realized as I was "re-watching" the series, that I haven't seen all of them. I'd seen a number of season 1 eps (numerous times each) all of S3, but most of the stuff in between is new to me. So...lucky me I guess, I'm experiencing some of it for the first time in the lead up to the new eps.

So due to that, my main memories of the show were Tobias and the play, the early days of George Michael's crush, George Sr in prison, etc.

Trailer is also missing the signature "string picking" theme. I wonder if it'll be in the show, or if that's Fox's property somehow.

With that theme, and some Ron Howard narration, it would have felt more like the good old Arrested Development.

Two more weeks till release. 7-or-so hours of new Arrested Development. I plan to veg out all day and watch it. It's like a mini-vacation for me.

I really hope we can get these here in Canada. Our version of Netflix is balls.

Trailer rules. CANT WAIT

Arrested Development is Fox's property and this is a Fox production. It's no different than when Fox would produce Buffy or Angel and air them on the WB or whatever.

There will eventually be a DVD/Blu release and it'll be from Fox.

That's true, but all of the Netflix Original series (House of Cards, Hemlock Grove) have been same day & date in Canada so far.

Yeah, plus there are ads for it on pretty much every device I use to log into Netflix from so I think that it is a safe bet that we will get it at the same time.

I think with Netflix's original content they have more control over the copyright and can offer it in more regions.

The official Netflix Canada twitter account has been going on and on about AD since it was first announced. We Canadians have nothing to worry about... we're getting it at the same time as the US.

Still, Canadians using Canadian Netflix are SO old-school.

It looks different in the way it is shot, but everything there tells me this will be awesome.

Wasn't the original show shot on video...? I'd imagine this is on HD camera. It does look strange to me as well.

It was originally 35mm I think.
