Re: The Lying Game -- "Twinsense and Sensibility" -- 9/05/11
I just finished watching this and they tried to jam in way too much story for 1 hour.
I like the Sutton/Emma arc and the little twists, especially with Ted and Alec's little cover up.
But, the whole psychic connection thing was a little out there. Also, what is the likelihood that a house, which burned down over 14 years ago would still be charred and in ruins?
The subplot with Mads and the older ballet teacher is stupid and has been done before and better.
Also, same with the subplot with Char/Laurel and 1st dibs on the new guy.
I noticed something odd at the end of the last episode that made no sense. As Sutton and Thayer were conversing with Emma while in LA, we saw Alec staring at them outside their window. How they hell did he get there? Unless he drove all night after reading the lap top. Seems silly though. And then at the beginning of this episode he was back in Arizona.
Also, Helen Slater looks really good for being 48. I like that she has a natural look with the wrinkles and none of the botox, facelift crap that alot of older actresses tend to do now.
