Yep. That was Scarface's pal, Stephen Bauer.

Interesting. In last season's Cousins flashback episode, Tio derisively referred to Gus as "Generalissimo". And Gus' life was spared because the guy said "I know who you are". You might be on to something there.

Probably because he's finally snapped out of his funk and has refocused on what's really important to him.

Also, why did Walt need to tell Jesse that Hank knows who he is? Just for the benefit of the audience? Because they have had a bunch of run-ins (showdown at the RV, Hank kicking Jesse's ass, and probably more).
I think he did it so the Jesse would understand how critical the situation is. Jesse is already on Hank's radar when it comes to the case with the blue meth. It probably wouldn't be too hard to connect the dots between Jesse and Gus(at least in Walt's eyes), and i guess he thinks Jesse may need to be reminded of that.. He also brought it up to relate to Jesse that it is a good reason(or excuse) for a meeting between him and Gus and let him know they share a common enemy or least to come off as the concerned employee and let Gus know how unpredictable Hank can be.

I haven't seen this brought up yet but I have a feeling Walt was given bad news about his test. I thought he looked sad and upset in the lab right after taking the test. I know he told his family the test came out fine but its not like he's truthful to them.

I thought that as well. I think that could lead into Walt becoming quite sick during next year's final season.

Once he gets real close to dying, who knows what he might do.

I took that as being Gus saying he had warned Hank, while also letting Hector know he had killed the cartel head.

totally forgot about that - he's been such a prick to her this season I forgot about that scene. I forget, did he struggle with the decision to go to the hospital?

Walt has really brought him down as much as he's helped him.
I've disliked him since episode 1.
I find him unlikable and whiny.

It's fresh for me because I watched the first three seasons on Blu-ray before Season 4 came out. I don't really remember him struggling with the decision. He got back in his car and bolted...

I think most people who watch this show disliked Jesse in episode one.

Difference is, those people continued to watch the show and saw how he grew and changed, how the decisions that both he and Walter made changed and affected him, etc. Doesn't seem like you did.

Re: Breaking Bad -- "Hermanos" -- 9/4/11

Has anyone else questioned to themselves that Gail is supposed to be 34 upon his death?

Also when Gus is angry in the elevator, it is making the ding noise with each floor, it reminds me of Hector ringing his bell in anger.......

I apologize deeply for not agreeing with you
I'll try not to let it happen again.

But Jesse's still annoying. He's such a loser. He grew and changed yeah, but not really for the better.
He can be funny but mostly I just strongly dislike him.

There are mostly unlikeable charaters on the show, though

This.

This season has been great for that actor. Since the first episode. I'm not sure if someone will be able to take the Emmy from him.

That flashback was great. Another tense episode.
