Kind of surprisng to be honest. I didn't think the show was doing fantastic at all but I guess I didn't expect them to cancel it. I figured having Conan as his lead in would keep the show going. Truthfully though the few times I have tuned in after Conan I can't get into the show. I think he can be funny but a lot of times his style of humor just doesn't do much for me.

No surprises here. He's unfunny, untalented, unoriginal and unimportant. The only difference between him and my dog is that my dog has only been on television a few times.

I saw his special guest for last night was Roseanne and was thinking, if that's your main guest, it sucks to be you. Now he's canned.
Does anyone have any other shows they want me to take out with my mind powers?

He was one of, if not the dumbest, most un-funny "comedians" ever!
Just terrible. If mexicans like him, I see why people are so intent on keeping them out of the U.S.

He was kind of like Arsenio where you would see musical guests that usually did not appear on the other talk shows like Prince.
Don't want to sound PC but it was refreshing for a guy like Lopez and a guy of color to have his own show.
The only guys I watch regularly are Conan and Fallon.

Re: TBS Cancels Lopez Tonight
Conan O'Brien had George Lopez come on his show twice and both times, George insisted on being set up to do his schtick rather than be himself. I know this happens with a lot of stand-up comedians and it's usually very transparent, yet I thought both of these interviews (one was even two segments long) were huge missed opportunities for George to show who he is and whether he and his show is worth someone's time. It was unfortunate.
Plus, it doesn't help that he always looks scared while he's doing his "monologue." And yes, "monologue" is in quotation marks on purpose.

Lopez is a funny guy, but everytime I turned on the show he was doing some joke that appealed to Latino's. Come on George, expand your base with your jokes!

Carson Daly's show gets better ratings than Lopez Tonight.
On Monday, Conan pulled in an anemic 0.5 rating in the key demographic (18 - 49) with 715,000 viewers -- and that's a pretty typical day. George's ratings hovered around 0.2, with 400,000 viewers.

I didn't even know Carson Daly was still on the air.
