Re: Switched at Birth -- Season 2 -- ABC Family
Do you have Netflix? The entire 1st season is on there.
Also episodes 23-30 from season 1 are still on Hulu.com. The episodes also got posted on ABC Family's website or Hulu.com the day after it airs. I think it's a 2-3 week window.
I know this probably isn't on your priority list, but it is possible for you to catch up.

Switched at Birth (ABC Family) - All ASL episode
I don't know how many posters regularly watch Switched at Birth but Monday night they had a special episode in which all but the first scene was done in all ASL with no vocalization whatsoever which is pretty ambitious.
Anybody watch?
I enjoyed it. I was wondering how they were gonna get the credits in there in such a subtitle-heavy episode, but it made sense to have Bay and Noah have their bit while the credits rolled.

Re: Switched at Birth (ABC Family) - All ASL episode
It was a decent episode, but I thought it was a bit strange that the school drama took precedence for Daphne over discovering Regina has been drinking again. It was treated like, "Ugh, my mom's drinking again but I have other stuff to deal with." But they've set it up so that news should have been earth-shattering to Daphne. In the very least she should have been distracted and 'out of it' while simultaneously trying to deal with a play and this huge secret plan.

I know they were going for the "walk a mile in my shoes" effect to help hearing people know what it's like to be deaf. But I thought the only scene that did that well was when Daphne set off the burglar alarm in the Kennish house. In that scene, there was really a sense of a lot of stuff happening and you didn't quite get it all. So quite effective. The rest of the episode was just average, I thought. But I really applaud their efforts on this issue. There's no other show like this on TV and I really enjoy it.
