Maybe you are still right. Maybe they liked the show idea, but not for her. So, they give her the win and stick her in some generic show while they develop the show she pitched for someone else.

House Hunters International I watch all the time.

Costa Rica seems awesome! And Cheap. Some places I'm astonished at the cost. And I live in SF where it's expensive.

I also love the ones where the budget is 1.2 Million and they end up spending 1.6, oh you just happened to have an extra 400 sitting there did ya!
