at the guy saying "I didn't come on this show to make a fool of myself." Dude, that's the whole purpose of the show.Loved the chef lying to Gordon about cooking the old fish, then pretending to look for it in the trash can

at Brendan lying about the fish and doing the "search" in the trash can. Once that happened it was pretty much a no-brainer that he was a goner. I got a few chuckles at Chino screwing up the rissoto 2 times.I know the editing was really deceptive, but they really tried to make you think that Brendan and Carrie hooked up.
I love how the men chefs are so reactive about being terrible and started pointing fingers at each other and cursing. Will was way over the top.

My wife watches a lot of trash TV, and sometimes I end up watching it with her, because I'm reading on the couch or trying to nap and I get sucked it, and rarely is it for the long haul...But since the middle of season 1, this is something we look forward to every summer.
What blows my mind is that they are able to find 16 people a year who are this stupid. If you can't cook a fucking risotto you should NEVER try out for this show.
All I could think about was taking a bite out of every one of those steaks they cut for the initial challenge in Episode 2... and watching them blend them was so paining.
Also, I wish the annoying **** wasn't from Pittsburgh, because that makes us look bad.

I've never taken Hell's Kitchen as a serious cooking competition show. They pretty much take the worst of the worst and see if someone stands out. Occassionally they may have some truly talented cooks on the show, but it's very rare.

I like the new (at least I think it's new): What is THIIIIS.... I'll tell you what... go back over there and sit at the table and eat your crappy food and watch while the rest of your team works.
Thought that was a nice touch and don't remember him doing that in the past (I like it better than simply banishing people from the kitchen).

Glad to know that using my DVR to turn these into about 20 minute episodes is still a good way to watch HK.

The only thing that really irks me about this show is the extra kick in the nuts they add to the punishments sometimes when they make them eat something gross. That's just the producers being assholes.

The whole cast is so trashy that I feel like this show should be on MTV.

I've never seen a reality show where EVERY single person smokes. As a chef, isn't it important to not smoke so you can better taste and "sense" the flavor of your food???

True, however as a career it generally involves late nights and lots of legal and sometimes illegal substances.Originally Posted by Rob V

Don't forget, another shocking edition of Hell's Kitchen airs tonight.
Also, FYI, apparently the President is speaking tonight at 9pm ET, so MasterChef will be pre-empted tonight. The West Coast will get a repeat.

OMG, that was hilarious. Watching the Red team self destruct after 2 good services was great TV. Gordon throwing out the entire Red kitchen was awesome. Carrie should have been the choice, but I assume the producers love her conflict with Elise and are keeping her around.
Elise's diva-like attitude and mouth are like nails running through a chalk board. I don't know if it was just the way the episode was edited, but Carrie appears useless in the kitchen.
at Gordon losing it after Amanda said she forgot to cook the Cod. Chef Scott to Tommy: "What's the ketchup for?"
"Next time you give me something I don't need, I'm going to throw it back at you!"

Natalie rocked the house tonight. She's made a great impression on me so far.

Favorite part I could watch over and over is the kid going "Shut it down!"

No one here appears to have any redeeming qualities (although the Southern guy has his charms, and Natalie knows what she's doing) so I love hearing Ramsay tear them all a new one.
Loved the chick screaming bloody murder when the clowns woke them up.

What made that even funnier is that right before, Will had been yelling at Tommy, and you could see Chef Scott in the background. He had this look on his face like "Hey, it's my job to yell at Tommy, but you're doing a good job at kicking his ass so I'll let you keep going. But I definitely want to tear into Tommy, so the first chance I get, I'm going to rip him a new a-hole."Originally Posted by DJariya

Between that and giving credit to Natalie after the service, I was actually impressed with Will. And, of course, Natalie is the only one who has had three good services (hell, she's the only one who has had three complete services).

Oh man, according to the preview for tonight, it's going to be a tear-jerker of an episode! I don't want a tear-jerking episode! I wan't to see "the most shocking episode of Hell's Kitchen ever!"

The fact that anyone's willing to yell at the sous chefs will always make it "the most shocking episode of Hell's Kitchen ever!"

Speaking of the sous chefs, I always thought so anyway but especially after watching her take down the big mouth tonight I have to say that Chef Andi is teh hot.

I can't believe Elise has her own name tattooed on her breast.
